Santa Barbara Wedding Ceremony

Laurie was absolutely magical and set a romantic atmosphere for our wedding. From the moment guests arrived, her music drew everyone in and made the experience feel special.

She coordinated seamlessly with our officiant to time the music with the wedding party walking down the aisle. She played our favorite songs (Married Life from Up and La Vie en Rose) while we walked down the aisle.

What impressed us most was her professionalism and kindness even with a last minute booking. She made the whole process easy and stress free.

Beautiful addition to our ceremony!

We worked with Laurie for our pre-ceremony and ceremony music, and it was such a lovely, romantic, and timeless addition to our day! So many of our guests noted how beautiful it was! Laurie was also so flexible in incorporating some more modern, non-conventional wedding songs into our processional and she did so beautiful!!! Great value and even more amazing to work with!

Perfect for our courthouse ceremony!

We hired Laurie for our Santa Barbara Courthouse ceremony at the mural room, and we couldn't be happier! She's very easy to work with, super professional, and she's a great communicator! She also went out of her way to accommodate our special request for the tea ceremony. If you are considering a harpist, we highly recommend booking her!!

Created a Magical Atmosphere

Laurie is a pro at weddings. We appreciated her expertise when it came to helping us choose songs, what we can expect during the ceremony, and her willingness to learn music we wanted for the wedding. She was responsive and was a pleasure to work with. The way the harp makes music sound so dreamy made the whole experience sound like a dream and made our ceremony so magical.

Wonderful Harpist

We met Laurie at the SB courthouse when she was setting up for someone else's wedding. We were entranced by her playing and I just knew we needed to hire her for our wedding. Laurie was responsive and professional, just overall super easy to work with. She was accommodating with my song requests and flexible with my ceremony logistics. She made my ceremony more beautiful that I could have every hoped for and I'm so glad we hired her.

Laurie is a dream!

Laurie was an absolute dream to work with! She was professional, extremely talented, and knowledgeable. Laurie helped us understand what was needed for setup and timing for our courthouse ceremony. She had us pick a few pieces for the processionals and recessional, which she wove together seamlessly, and she filled in the rest of the time with her large repertoire of music. I cannot recommend her highly enough! She is wonderful to work with and will make your ceremony beautiful with her music. Thank you Laurie!!!!!

Laurie is so Talented!!

Harp for the heart

Laurie Rasmussen played beautifully at our wedding! Without any extra work on our part, she folded herself perfectly into the proceedings and worked seamlessly with our officiant to set up and play our outdoor wedding. Incredible Harpist

We loved Laurie's harp at our wedding. Many of our guests came up to us after the ceremony telling us what a wonderful addition she was to the ceremony. Moreover, Laurie was very easy to work with! She responded to our emails within hours and had great ideas for what we could have played at our ceremony. She was also great with logistics; she asked all the relevant questions upfront and knew exactly what to do the day of. I could not have asked for a better harpist at our wedding!
