When you hire Natalie Gelman to perform for your wedding or special event you’re not just hiring a musician but a world-class entertainer. As a successful independent artist, Natalie has toured throughout the US, Europe and Scandinavia.
Well known as a folk-pop singer/songwriter, Natalie sings and plays the guitar, ukulele and occasionally piano - comparable to Colbie Caillat, Sheryl Crow and Brandi Carlile. Her most recent album was released with sought after industry producers Charlie Midnight (James Brown, Joni Mitchell) and Mark Needham (The Killers, Fleetwood Mac).
Natalie brings that something extra to your birthday, anniversary, holiday party and special wedding moments - she LOVES working with brides and grooms to choose the perfect music for their ceremony, cocktail hour, first dance and reception. Often learning songs especially for the event!
Besides solo performances, a duo and full band is also available.
One of Natalie’s other specialties is writing custom songs to celebrate your special day and event! Natalie works with you to learn about how you met and feel in love and writes a song telling your love story. This is a great gift to give each other! You also get an acoustic recording which is a really special keepsake! Done before the wedding the personal song can be a nice addition to your website, save the date or invitation!

As a wedding officiant in Santa Barbara, I work with many fantastic musicians. But I am especially impressed with how unique Natalie is. She is so fresh and sweet and enthusiastic. She pours her heart into her music and is up for anything. I like to add bits of music within a ceremony...like a little strumming during a blessing. All I had to do at a recent wedding was ask Natalie to listen for a small cue during the ceremony, and she added a sensitive tiny piece that was not even expected by the bride and groom. They loved it, and so did their guests. One more thing to add: she can sing! Rarely do we hear singing at a wedding these days, but if you want something extra special, ask her to sing.
