Beth at Larkspur is a dream to work with, talking through various options, styles, colors, and floral selections. Our bouquets turned out amazing and I love how she played with balances little differences in the bridesmaids bouquets and mine. The table decor was also amazing, with fun pops of color that I so wanted to liven up the vision. Truly just stunning work! Knowing her flowers and greenery are fresh from their Michigan farm is an added bonus...love the home grown feel. Highly recommend!

Beth did the flowers at my wedding and they were gorgeous! She knew I was on a budget because my fiance and I were paying for most of our wedding ourselves. I gave Beth a price that I needed to stay around, and she didn't disappoint! My bouquet was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend Larkspur for all of your arrangements.

We got bouquets and centerpieces from Larkspur and it was a great experience. Beth was creative and listened to what we wanted. She made the greenery in our centerpieces beautiful and interesting in order to keep our prices low (this was on purpose). The best money-saver was she sold us extra vases so that the bridesmaids bouquets doubled as table pieces at the head table!

Our only snag was that we didn't make the minimum for delivery, and the pickup window was 11am-1pm, whereas the venue didn't allow dropoff until 4pm. I was nervous about keeping the flowers in a hot car or something between. My friend helping worked it out, but it's something to keep in mind in the future.

Beth from Larkspur is absolutely wonderful from our first meeting to the perfect wedding centerpieces she created! During our first meeting, Beth was prepared to turn our ideas into reality while gently guiding the conversation using her expertise. She reached out to us to get the final detail information. She came to set up the centerpieces but allowed us to drop off the vases the next day to save a little bit from the price. The bridal bouquet was absolutely perfect! All of the flowers lasted weeks after our event so you know that she uses the highest quality, freshest flowers for all of her arrangements! I would recommend Larkspur to any Chicago bride!

Rather than specify certain flowers to be used in the arrangements, I asked Beth to choose flowers that she thought would be fresh and beautiful - I trusted her artistic talent to create something wonderful and unique. And she delivered!

Beth was extremely thoughtful, flexible and professional. I planned my wedding from out of town, but was able to communicate easily with her from start to finish. She was also very personable and kind, which was icing on the cake.

We looked at about 5 different florists and Larkspur was in our top 3. We got the best vibe from Beth and felt like we could trust her for her opinion and that things would run smoothly. We had changes along the way..and she was always full of ideas and suggestions and patient with us. When our flowers arrived on our wedding day they were gorgeous we got lots of compliments and I absolutley loved my bouquet...everything looked so vibrant and photographed beautifully.

I had a fairly limited wedding budget but still hoped for beautiful personal floral arrangements. I was disappointed with the customer service that was provided to me by the first florist I considered. After looking at online reviews I found Larkspur and found the online reviews to be accurate. Beth was extremely helpful. I brought in pictures and had a few ideas of what I wanted at our initial meeting and she was able to put together a proposal for personal flower arrangements that fit my budget. The flowers were beautiful and we received many compliments the day of the wedding. I could not have been more pleased. Beth provided excellent customer service, responding to my questions and emails within a timely manner. She even followed-up with us when my husband forgot to pick-up his boutonniere the following week for our second wedding reception. I highly recommend Beth and the staff at Larkspur!

Where to begin with Larkspur? I first found them via a search on the Martha vendor match service. From the moment I first saw their work even in photos online, I loved them. And when I met with Beth Barnett, the owner, to discuss what my vision was for the florals at our wedding, I was sold.

She is excellent on every level. First off, her creative is amazing: her style is thoroughly modern with a raw beauty. Amazing color sense. Innovative ideas. I absolutely did not want precious, "wedding-y" arrangements, and Beth delivered on every front.

I gave her our chosen color palette--blues and purples, and some ideas about what I wanted for the personal flowers (for me and my bridesmaids). We also talked at length about the floorplan and table set up for the reception and what kinds of arrangements we wanted for that.

She came back a day later with a comprehensive, on-budget proposal that encompassed all of our needs with specific floral suggestions based on what would be available for our February wedding.

As the wedding date drew near, Beth joined us for our venue walk-through. Of course, EVERYTHING changed at this time (table sizes and number, room configuration, etc.). Beth was totally flexible and excited about the new plan, offering ideas to suit the new direction on the spot, and providing me with a revised proposal the very next day (still on budget!).

The final result was simply breathtaking. I loved, loved, loved my bouquet so much. I carried it around all night! My bridesmaids bouquets and all the boutonnieres were amazing as well. And the reception--awesome. She did a variety of arrangements instead of one standard on all the tables. And mixed florals with candles to beautiful effect. It was just the right mix of glamour and edge--not a precious or fussy bouquet to be found!

At every turn, Beth was an absolute delight to work with: amazing creative (as mentioned), totally professional, always quick with a response. She went above and beyond to make our day even more beautiful than we dreamed it could be. And did it all with kindness and grace.
