Perfect Venue for an Unforgettable Wedding
Our wedding was an intimate celebration with 30 guests, and the Boathouse ceremony and reception site was absolutely perfect. The setting is stunning—right on the lake—and ideal for a small gathering. The resort also offers beautiful spaces for larger weddings that are worth exploring.
From start to finish, the Lakehouse team was exceptional. I first worked with Ashley on the quotation and contract process. She was incredibly accommodating, quick to respond (even while on an international vacation!), and flexible with contract adjustments.
Once the contract was complete, I worked with Nicole, the senior event manager, who was an absolute dream to collaborate with. She’s highly organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about creating a seamless experience. Thanks to her professionalism and support, the entire day was flawless—from setup to service. The food and cocktails were outstanding, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them.
Beyond the wedding itself, the resort’s lakeside setting offers plenty to do—boating, biking, golfing, or simply relaxing by the pool. Guests loved being able to stay right where the celebration took place, making the weekend both fun and stress-free.
I highly recommend the Lakehouse Resort to anyone planning a wedding. It’s a beautiful venue, backed by an exceptional team that truly goes above and beyond to make your day unforgettable.

Lakehouse Boathouse + Island Ceremony - wedding of our dreams!
Lia and her team were responsive, professional, flexible, and super accommodating throughout the entire process. Especially for a type A bride and groom. They're truly best in class when it comes to running a smooth wedding operation.
We really liked Lakehouse's unique island ceremony! Our guests were thrilled with the boat ride to the island - it added such a special touch to the day. Everything ran like a well-oiled machine, from the ceremony to the reception.
The food was also a major reason we chose Lakehouse Resort, and it did not disappoint. The quality exceeded our already high expectations. The salmon was to die for, and the steak? Chef's kiss!
If you're on the fence, go for it - we highly recommend working with Lakehouse!

Local destination wedding feel
I wanted a venue that also had a hotel and this exceeded my expectations. We splurged and got the 2 bedroom cottage and it was so fancy and decadent and comfortable. Just perfect for a wedding and large enough to accommodate family and friends and make-up artists doing the whole wedding party along with all our kids running around lol
Our family and friends who stayed at the hotel kept saying how they couldn't wait to go back for a weekend getaway and almost all of our guests raved about how beautiful our wedding was! Even the food was delicious! It really was the best day of our lives and I have zero regrets.
The only thing I would complain about is that we were never walked through how to block off rooms and never offered a discount for our guests hotel rooms or even our hotel room which was a disappointment.
