Lafayette Grande's Traveling Chef Catering provided dinner service for our wedding at The Crofoot Ballroom. The team from Traveling Chef as great and the food was amazing. They also provided linens and chair covers for us and everything went very smoothly. Our guests are still commenting on how great the food was. We got quotes from many other caterers that were double or triple the price we got from Traveling Chef. We attending a menu tasting and knew that their food was just what we wanted.Sent on 07/05/2015

Great Service and Even Better Food!
Greg and the team at Lafayette Grande were absolutely incredible! We ended up using them for outside catering (their own venue is amazing but dates didn't work out), and they treated us as if our entire wedding was at their venue. They were so personable every time we met to go through details and made everything so easy. During the week of our wedding when we were having some issues with our own venue, Greg even offered to step in and help in anyway he could! During our wedding Greg was their with his staff and they were awesome to work with, taking care of all of our guests needs. Now, service is very important, but ultimately the food is what matters the most, and the food was amazing. All of our guests raved about how good every thing was. They were so great, I hope to be able to have to have another reason to work with them in the future!Sent on 08/29/2019

So happy we had our wedding here!
We had our wedding here in The Grande Ballroom and are so happy with how everything turned out! They have tastings once a month where the bride and groom eat for free, so we were able to try a lot of their food before we decided on our final menu. On our wedding day the food was even better than any of the tastings we had been to. We picked the roasted beef and carved pork butt which were both delicious, but the vegetarian alfredo lasagna is one of the best dishes I have ever had and was a huge hit! All of the staff was super friendly and helpful the night of our wedding. The venue is family owned and they were all helpful during the entire process. We were also lucky and had the room free the Friday before so we were able to set up early which was super convenient. The room looked gorgeous the day of, and all of our guests loved everything! We were also able to bring our own cake in without an extra fee, which some venues we looked at did not allow. For anyone looking for a unique wedding venue I would highly recommend Lafayette Grande!Sent on 08/05/2019
