La Venta Inn is a breathtaking historic venue dating back to the 1920s. Their space can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests, making it an ideal place to celebrate with your closest family and friends. The Great Room offers impeccable details including a grand fireplace, dramatic ceilings, and breathtaking Spanish architecture. Outside there is a terrace that is the perfect place for an intimate cocktail hour or social cocktail hour. With elegant water features to accentuate the details your guests will be impressed from the moment they arrive.
In addition to an unforgettable venue, you can relax knowing you’ll be the center of attention because they only book a single event per day. Your guests will be met with attended parking to make arrival and departure as easy as possible. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with a complimentary venue coordinator throughout the planning process. With most couples not being professional event planners, it’s extremely helpful to have someone walk you through the process from start to end and answer all the questions that come up along the way. For your event itself, you’ll be provided with chairs, tables, China, flatware, glassware, and linens. If your event is in the cool evening, patio heaters are available. Sound and lighting are also provided to make your experience as easy as possible.

My husband and I were married at La Venta two weeks ago. From the moment we toured the beautiful property, we knew it was the right place for us to start our life together.
The location: The ceremony location has a spectacular view. Our guests were blown away. The gardens are fantastic for photos. Even in September there were many lovely flowers in bloom. The building itself feels so vintage and intimate. The beautiful fireplace makes a great backdrop for special dances. The dining room has a wonderful view also, and is perfect for a small intimate wedding. We had around 70, and it was absolutely perfect.
The Food:The New York Food Company food was SPECTACULAR. First, they invite their brides and grooms to a quarterly tasting event, so you get to try more of their menu than you would elsewhere. Plus, it's a fun date night, courtesy of NYFC. BTW, our guests are still RAVING about how yummy the food was. Most said it was better than some 5 star restaurants they'd been too. All agreed it was the best wedding food they'd ever had.
La Venta Staff: Everyone at La Venta was extremely helpful. From my early emails with Mike and Tim, to my interaction with the servers and bartenders, everyone took great care of us and our guests.
Most importantly, our coordinator, Leslie, was AMAZING. She made sure everything--down to the last detail--ran smoothly and that we had the beautiful and romantic wedding we dreamed of. She even made sure that my husband and I remembered to eat! She had a tray of appetizers and champagne delivered to the bridal cottage after the ceremony, while we were having a moment alone. She also made sure that during dinner (while we were hopping from table to table) we knew when each course came out so that we didn't miss any of the yummy food. She also packed us a sampler of all the delicious food to take home with us. It was a wonderful touch! We felt so well taken care of.
Bottom line: If you want a dream wedding, La Venta is your venue

AMAZING VENUE, with an even more amazing price!
We recently had our wedding reception at La Venta Inn, and it was absolutely a dream come true. The La Venta wedding codrinator went above and beyond to make sure that everything ran smoothly, and we can honestly say that the wedding turned out even better than expected. Our guests keep telling us that the food at La Venta was the best wedding food that they ever had, and that the views were some of the most beautiful that they have ever seen. We highly recommend La Venta for weddings/events, the entire package for what the cost was is truly an amazing deal (about $20k less than a hotel wedding, plus at La Venta you have the entire place to yourselves). It really makes the whole wedding process easier given that La Venta provides all the tables, linens, cutlery, and food and cake, and even assigns you a wedding coordinator so it is not necessary to hire an outside wedding planner. They also give a lot of flexibility in the decorations you can bring in, but honestly you barely need any given how stunning the ocean and LA skyline views are. As an added bonus, we had our ceremony at the Neighborhood Church, which is only 5 mins away, and is also one of the most stunning seaside churches I have ever seen.

We could not have asked for a more magical venue. Our wedding celebration will go down in history as a Fairytale ending. The La Venta Inn was not only beautiful but the entire staff were incredible to work with; especially since we live out of state. They coordinated with our parents and together created one of the best days of our lives. We highly recommend the La Venta Inn for any event - especially your wedding.

We love working at La Venta. The staff are always on point and insure the event goes smoothly from beginning to the very end. Guests love the view and ability to roam around the property which you can't get in a normal venue. Highly recommended!
As a wedding professional (having had my wedding at La Venta) I was happy most especially with the staff’s (Tim Kennedy, Kathy, Lori, and even Chef Rick Campos) ability to team their knowledge allowing expeditious response to our ever-growing list of questions in the weeks & days prior to our date. I’d like to mention Tim’s endurance with several meetings offsite including our private tasting in El Segundo & challenging décor issues with Classic Rentals. Chef Campos kept his promise to oversee our event despite a re-assignment within the company. More-over, our Wedding Consultant Stephanie Lairson expressed a similar experience with the staff, their promptness, and attention to detail. When asked what aspect of the experience we appreciated the most, my wife & I concluded that La Venta was a ‘total experience’ since there was several aspects of our special day that were exclusive to the property, the catering, and the service. The result, of course, was a well managed, elegant, & intimate celebration that all our guests continue to talk about six years later. As we see it, the only drawback was having to end our party prematurely at 11pm (which I understand is a policy enforced due to noise issues within the residential community. We are very satisfied with the special memory we have…thank you! Run by New York Food Company, La Venta Inn is the most fantastic location in the Los Angeles, South Bay area. By far the best food, service and setting. I love working a La Venta Inn. They are very professional.
