In my mind, wedding photos aren’t meant to be blown up as a big canvas on the wall (though I don’t mind if you do!). When I imagine my photos living in my clients’ houses, I imagine well-loved 5×7’s on bedside tables, pianos and the living room shelves. I hope that when you get your wedding photos, it’s a bit like reliving a beautiful movie because life is kind of a movie. And I hope you get to see your day the way we all saw it: you both, as well as the love of your family and the joy of your friends. Top that off with a few portraits of you guys at arguably your finest; I hope that equals photos you love and can live with forever. Beauty to me is the perfectly imperfect. Life and love are both that way. I love to capture the beauty of what’s real.

I am a multi-disciplinary artist who has been shooting weddings and other family documentary work for over 10 years. It’s one of my favorite things to pick up my camera and capture. Happy clients make me happy. My goal is to always leave you surprised and delighted.

In addition to my work, I like to travel, and I’m a fan of the simple life. A good meal and a great bottle of wine is my idea of paradise just about anywhere in the world. I reside in Chicago, have a kitchen that I like to cook in (but it needs a remodel) and a have a small garden in my backyard where I grow herbs, tomatoes and flowers every year. My current interests include reading up on eco-friendly architecture and design, dreaming about post-COVID travel plans and always having some artistic side project going that would probably bore you to tears to hear about.
