We had Eva Au as our officiant. The only reason we hired her was that we wanted someone who could speak both English and Cantonese at the ceremony.
Eva was late for an hour at our first meeting. And it usually takes her weeks to reply to emails. With Eva's reputation of being late and slow in response, I called Eva the day before our second meeting to confirm. She told us she was 'about to call us to reschedule'. I was really concerned about Eva being so unprofessional, plus after searching on the web we did find other reviews about her being late to the reception!!!!! I was debating whether to switch our officiant but was too late to find another one available, so we keep our fingers crossed and intentionally tell Eva that the ceremony was going to start at 10:30a (in fact it was 11a) just in case she is late.
LUCKILY EVA showed up on time at our wedding. She did a good job that day, but it wouldn't compensate the 'worry about Eva would be late at our wedding' we had to go through.
