We can’t recommend Zach highly enough. Planning a wedding during the COVID pandemic wasn’t easy but Zach was more than flexible and accommodating with all the date changes. And when the date did finally come, he was extremely responsive to us regarding all the ceremony and reception planning and helped us with providing all the proper equipment (even some of it kind of last minute). When one of the songs we chose for the ceremony turned out to be a little too short for our procession, we let Zach know and he looped the song seamlessly to make it longer. He was punctual on the wedding day and prepared. He did a phenomenal job during the reception with the intros and announcing the toasts. And most importantly, the music he put together for the cocktail hour and reception was just top-notch. His music kept the dance floor packed from the moment the dance floor opened until the moment the reception ended. Several people mentioned to us how much they loved the music throughout the night and how good the DJ was. Do yourself a favor and book and book Zach for your event. You won’t be disappointed. Zach was the real MVP of our wedding. He was a total pleasure to work with — attentive, completely unfussy, and musically brilliant. For one, he was punctual, generous, and proactive: at the last minute we needed him to handle the sound for our Wedding Ceremony, and he seamlessly sorted it out (he was supposed to just DJ during our evening picnic and nighttime dance party). Across the board, the sound quality was great and all the cues were hit, all with very little effort and coordination on our part.

Musically, Zach read the room impressively. We supplied him with a brief sample playlist of things we like, and he was able to find the perfect sweet spot that encompassed our more esoteric tastes and the whims of the dancefloor revelers. At least a dozen of our guests have asked for the playlist, and so many people have remarked to us about how great the DJ was.

Many of your wedding vendors may cause stress or be demanding or uncompromising. I promise, Zach will be the breeziest and impactful of everyone there to help. One might say, the music makes the party…

We worked with DJ Zach for our October '25 wedding and we are SO glad that we did. From the planning process all the way through to our big day, Zach was easy and fun to work with! We loved his collaborative approach - he truly listened to the vibe we were trying to create and executed on it perfectly. He even helped us incorporate a drag queen and her set into our reception. Our friends and family danced the whole night and finished with a "one more song chant" at the end. If you're looking for a DJ that just "gets it", work with Zach!

We LOVED ZACH!! We were anxious about our dance floor because we wanted the music to be particular to our tastes, yet dancey and fun for everyone, all ages. To that end, Zach came highly recommended by DJ friends, with the promise that he would deliver.

Lead-up to the wedding: Zach was so, so prompt in his responses, which made him by far our easiest vendor to work with during our wedding planning. He talked a bunch with us to figure out/nail our vibe.
Night of: Zach absolutely did deliver. He created the absolute best dance floor...we and all of our guests were out dancing the entire time!! It was exactly what we wanted and more.

We hired Zach back in April to DJ for our 10th year anniversary party. We bought out a restaurant so we had the celebration split between a cocktail hour, dinner and then dancing after dinner

Zach asked us for a list of songs/playlist for our songs, and we gave him 2 sets: One for cocktail hour/dinner and one for the dancing section.

The vibes were amazing during the cocktail hour and dinner. My parents personally loved some of their very own favorites playing as we were all chatting and having dinner.

Once the dinner service ended, music transitioned into Disco/Salsa/Merengue and it was great to see our friends jumping from their chairs and into the dance floor.

We’ve heard nothing but great compliments from friends and family on the music and vibes through the night and the great pickup during the happy hour!

Zach threw us the most magical wedding party. People keep messaging us different versions of “best wedding ever”. Others commented on how exceptional the DJing was. It was so fun, and the music was fire!

Zach did a great job with pleasing the couple's expectations at a wedding at Gilbertsville Farmhouse. Ceremony went smoothly and dancing during reception dinner went all night. Couple very happy and what more can you ask for!

Zach of Kernsy Events was fantastic to work with. It’s hard to find a DJ that understands your vibe, can guide the evening, and also not be overbearing. Zach was flexible, organized, and super helpful. He assisted with multiple choreographed dance numbers, a song that I sang, and even had Turkish songs ready to play for my husband and his family.
