When my now husband and I first got engaged people kept telling us that a planner was necessary, but we thought for sure we could do it on our own. As soon as we met Kelley we realized how wrong we were. She worked to provide us her services within our budget, and was friendly and professional from day one. She was always quick to respond to all of my many questions, and put my at ease. I felt a lot of the stress of the wedding day lifted off my shoulder as soon as we hired Kelley. She went above and beyond to do things like offer to come pick up the decorations from us so that we would not have to be the ones to deliver them on the day of the wedding, and because she could not be there for when we rehearsed she talked me through everything step by step on the phone. At the walk through she asked all the questions that we had not even thought about or knew to ask about. Her detailed timeline and " To Do" lists were lifesavers, and ensured that all vendors knew exactly what to do when.
On the day of the wedding she served as planner, friend, and nurse. Kelley kept me calm and reassured when guests did not arrive on time. She brought another planner with her to help set up just because she wanted to make sure everything was done perfectly, and it was (which was no easy task because we had a lot of small things to set up). She helped my Grandma without hesitation when she was unable to step onto the shuttle bus, even running to get her own car and drive my Grandma down to the ceremony site. When we got slightly off our original schedule Kelley always had a plan and made sure we all stayed on track. No matter what was going on Kelley always wanted to make sure that my husband and I were having fun, which thanks to Kelley we did!
