From the trial to the day of my wedding, everything was a collaboration that came with ease. She truly listens to her clients, she works with you to really execute your *vision.* There's a lot of anticipation the morning of a wedding. My bridesmaids and I were bracing ourselves for a hectic morning, but when Kayla got to the hotel room to start prepping us, it felt very peaceful, as if we were all just hanging out, getting our makeup done. Even when we realized we were short on time, Kayla still managed to adjust the schedule and get everyone ready, with time to spare. My bridesmaids and I felt so beautiful, and our hair and makeup made it through hours of happy tears, laughter, and dancing.

Just had my bridal preview and used the makeup for my engagement shoot. I can’t WAIT to use her for my wedding! Throughout the consultation and booking process she was professional and very communicative. She showed up for the preview right on time, and she was fun to work with. The makeup not only lasted, but it wasn’t cakey: it was comfortable, ans very natural looking. My photographer insisted on her info to recommend to her other clients. She said it shot very well and looked very natural on camera. The hair was just as perfect. She can do whatever you want: full glam, simple and tasteful. I’d highly recommend her.

Working with Kayla was amazing!! My biggest concern was making sure that my makeup looked natural for my wedding and it absolutely did! Kayla listened to what I wanted, was thorough, responsive, and had great energy! She arrived early (even for a sunrise ceremony!) and made sure my family and I felt comfortable. Kayla was so amazing to work with! I would absolutely recommend her without hesitation. I wanted someone to do both hair and makeup for my bridal party, mothers, and myself. Kayla did a great job of making everyone look great. Very natural but clear we were wearing makeup, which is what I wanted. Since we had a large group Kayla did makeup for everyone and her assistant did hair. She made a schedule and stuck to it nicely. It was fun for everyone to wear fake lashes, she picked ones that fit everyone best, so even my mom felt and looked great in them. Kayla is super sweet and has a great nature to her. She was a calming and fun presence on the day of the wedding. She made all the little tweaks I requested after our trial and the final look turned out better than I could have imagined. Kayla did hair and makeup for my wedding in Feb 2020, right before lockdown. I did my hair and makeup trial with her, which I'm glad I did, because we realized that the updo I originally wanted was way too heavy to keep up, despite all the hairspray and bobby pins in the world. Kayla helped me pick out a simple and elegant look for my wedding and I loved it! I decided to go for natural with a touch of glam she absolutely delivered.

On the day of my morning wedding, she showed up right on time and brought an assistant to help out with hair and makeup for myself, my 2 bridesmaids, and my mother. I knew my skin was sensitive so I informed her during the trial and she took precautions to use products for sensitive skin. She was transparent about the products she was using, taking care to answer all my questions and took steps to sanitize her equipment thoroughly.

I'm not used to wearing makeup regularly, but I felt at ease with Kayla because she was so knowledgeable and considerate. She gave all of us touch up kits afterwards, which we were able to use throughout the day. I am so happy I went with Kayla and cannot recommend her enough!
