Kayla was absolutely amazing to work with and truly understood the assignment! I wanted to look like the best version of myself on my wedding day, natural, elevated, and still completely me, and she delivered exactly that.
I’m not always the best at explaining what I’m envisioning, but Kayla was so good at understanding what I was trying to say and translating it into the most beautiful hair and makeup. She has such a talent for creating a polished, elevated look without ever making you feel overdone.
I felt so beautiful and confident on my wedding day, and everything held up perfectly throughout the entire day and night. She also made the whole morning feel so fun and easy, which was exactly what I needed.
I’m so grateful I found Kayla and would recommend her to anyone looking for that effortless, natural, elevated bridal beauty. She truly over-delivered! -

Kayla is the artist who will make all of your hair and makeup dreams come true. She took a nervous bride to a confident queen! On the wedding day every which way I turned, Kayla was there with her touchup kit strapped to her hip, fixing each piece of hair, filling in a lip, or just smiling sweetly making me feel so safe and seen. If there's one thing Kayla is, it's an artist!! She has such a gift, I don't think I've ever felt more beautiful than when I had my hair and makeup done by Kayla. From the trial to the day of my wedding, everything was a collaboration that came with ease. She truly listens to her clients, she works with you to really execute your *vision.* There's a lot of anticipation the morning of a wedding. My bridesmaids and I were bracing ourselves for a hectic morning, but when Kayla got to the hotel room to start prepping us, it felt very peaceful, as if we were all just hanging out, getting our makeup done. Even when we realized we were short on time, Kayla still managed to adjust the schedule and get everyone ready, with time to spare. My bridesmaids and I felt so beautiful, and our hair and makeup made it through hours of happy tears, laughter, and dancing. -

Kayla did an amazing job doing hair and make-up for myself, my sister, and mom for my September 2023, including a bridal preview a few months earlier. She was so attentive, really listened to what we wanted, and made us feel confident and beautiful. She was also a calming presence the day-of, which is really appreciated for a high-stakes event like a wedding! Highly recommend Kayla for any future brides or anyone seeking hair and make-up services. -

I found Kayla through the "something borrowed" Facebook group. I was looking for a MUA/hair to travel my wedding. Her response time was timely and she gave great advice. I set up a trial session and was so impressed I booked her for my wedding. My mom, SIL, MIL loved her looks too. Kayla was so professional. I highly recommend her as your MUA/hair for your special events. -

Kayla did hair and makeup for my wedding in Feb 2020, right before lockdown. I did my hair and makeup trial with her, which I'm glad I did, because we realized that the updo I originally wanted was way too heavy to keep up, despite all the hairspray and bobby pins in the world. Kayla helped me pick out a simple and elegant look for my wedding and I loved it! I decided to go for natural with a touch of glam she absolutely delivered.
On the day of my morning wedding, she showed up right on time and brought an assistant to help out with hair and makeup for myself, my 2 bridesmaids, and my mother. I knew my skin was sensitive so I informed her during the trial and she took precautions to use products for sensitive skin. She was transparent about the products she was using, taking care to answer all my questions and took steps to sanitize her equipment thoroughly.
I'm not used to wearing makeup regularly, but I felt at ease with Kayla because she was so knowledgeable and considerate. She gave all of us touch up kits afterwards, which we were able to use throughout the day. I am so happy I went with Kayla and cannot recommend her enough! -

Because my husband and I were married in the midst of COVID, I was looking for someone who could be both makeup artist and hair stylist to minimize the number of people we interacted with. Kayla was perfect - she is exceptionally talented at both makeup and hair! She gave me the perfect soft glam look. Not only is she super talented, she is also very cool. Her personality and overall vibe fit perfectly with our wedding party. When I first contacted Kayla, she set up a phone interview and was quick to follow up via email to make sure everything was clear and all my questions were answered. She was so quick to respond - we had the makeup and hair trial scheduled within the next week! Kayla took the few changes I suggested after the trial and incorporated them into my hair and makeup on our wedding day. She really listened to what I wanted and made sure I was completely satisfied with the overall look. Kayla was a true professional. She made sure everything was super clean, wearing a face shield and disinfecting all her equipment. I'm so glad I found Kayla! She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! I can't recommend her enough. Just book her - you won't be sorry!
