When I saw the reception room on wedding day I was brought to tears at how beautiful everything came together - it was one-of-a-kind and so overwhelmingly personal. Working with Kate was so easy and she understood my vision completely. I didn’t have many inspo pics, more a description of what I wanted my wedding to feel like and Kate really brought that feeling to life. Mine and my bridal party bouquets were beautiful and when I walked into our reception room I cried at how perfect and romantic the room looked. Kate was really easy to work with and was honest about where and what should I use my budget on. My wedding day was a dream brought to life and that’s a huge part of the wonderful work Kate and her team did!

When I got engaged, I knew I must hire Kate as my florist. Kate and her team did my sister's wedding 7 years ago and my best friend's wedding last year. She is also doing the florals and event design for my brother's wedding in October.
Kate has an exceptional ability to pull common themes from her client's mood boards and create a one of a kind vision. I was so indecisive with what I wanted my decor vision to be. Kate was so patient and kept me calm and always gave me ideas to consider. I am so glad I trusted Kate. She is hands down the best!

Kate Duffy was our wedding planner for our daughter’s wedding on June 4, 2021. The wedding was for 200+ guests under the largest tent that Sperry makes on and adjacent to our property on the Jersey shore. There were many vendors involved unlike a wedding at a wedding venue or club where the venue provides everything but the music, the couple and the guests. Kate was excellent at organizing and managing this from start to finish. Her financial estimates matched the final cost perfectly. She had excellent relationships with many vendors giving us many options. With Kate’s help we ended up with an outstanding group of vendors which included one of the top chefs in New Jersey, a spectacular band from New York as well as lighting vendors, the tent company, the lighting and decoration vendor, the furniture and china vendor, transportation. We even had to hire a landscaper to level the property, relocate some 12 foot hedges and provide beautiful floral plantings. The flowers were provided by Kate’s floral company who are excellent in their own right.. They put together a magical wonderland inside the tents. Yes tents, we required one for the cocktail location and one for the reception with covered walkways linking them. To a sense of the scale of this, the caterer brought over 60 people from chef to waiter.What made all this particularly challenging was the fact that the Covid pandemic caused the rescheduling of the wedding three times. That required that Kate get the vendors to roll over their commitment to three different dates. This required close professional relationships and acute management skill. There were many moving parts in this whole project with multiple areas of possible debacles of which there were none. The wedding day itself went off smoothly as Kate had a professional event coordinators on site making sure things kept moving. Kate Duffy is a highly skilled professional with impeccable taste and strong relationships in the area. It was an unforgettable day thanks to Kate Duffy and her amazing assistant Leslie.

There are no words to describe how happy we were to work with Kate. From the first meeting to the end product, it was perfectly seamless. Kate and her team are incredibly talented and seeing the final product on the day of our wedding took our breath away! Kate can see the vision and execute flawlessly! Katydid was not only my daughters Florist, she was also out full planner. The attention to every detail was incredible . Our wedding planning was so easy , as Kate handled it all.

Kate was the most incredible person to work with. We unfortunately had to postpone our June 2020 wedding due to covid but still had a small ceremony on our original date, followed by a big reception in 2021. Kate did the florals for both days and we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. She is incredibly talented, unique and creative. She truly brings your vision to life.
