I knew I wanted an updo on my big day, specifically some sort of beautiful braid. Katelyn is a braid expert -- she even teaches braiding classes to other stylists. For my trial, we tried several different styles and combinations of braids before choosing the winner. She checked in to make sure everything stayed or if anything needed adjusting. I received so many compliments on my hair, especially how textured and full it was. Katelyn does amazing work, is super easy to talk to, and has become my regular stylist after finding her for my wedding hair.

You can't find a more patient, creative, and meticulous stylist to do your bridal hair than Katelyn. I went through a ton of online bridal hair styles and Katelyn must have tried more than 15 different looks on me. She took photos from all angles so I could get the 360 view, and we tried styling them with my Indian jewelry as well to make sure we got the full picture (head piece included!). From her experience in editorial photo shoots, Katelyn gave me really valuable insights on what would work best for my wedding photos and what made the most practical sense for my beach wedding. On the day of, she arrived early with all of her gear (even gear I didn't even know I might need!) and worked quickly and with a keen eye on getting all the hairs in the right place (I'm very OCD). In fact, after seeing my bridesmaids' hair, I decided I wanted something a bit more dramatic to stand out more; Katelyn read my mind and pretty much came up with my final style on the spot. It perfectly fit my personality and the total look I was going for - amazing! My updo lasted the entire night and looked like new until the very last photo. I've been a bridesmaid in a ton of weddings, and have had a lot of stylists work on my hair. Katelyn is hands down the best -- infinite patience, thinks quickly on her feet and is very intuitive about what you want, even when you can't explain it properly.
