Kari Ellen Events - now rebranded to Allora & Ivy Event Co. - was the BEST decision we made for our wedding for a number of reasons. We booked the full package because our jobs kept us busy at all hours of the day but Kari and her team were on it and always able to answer any questions we had about the process. She was able to handle every hiccup during this global pandemic with grace and patience, two things we absolutely needed as we found the entire wedding planning process take a sharp turn as we tried to adjust our guest counts, food counts, and pretty much every little detail that was affected. Extra guests? No problem. Finding the right band? No problem. GLOBAL PANDEMIC? Sure, we'll do our best. Kari and her team will always put forth their best work and keep your spirits up throughout the entire process.

The day of our wedding could not have been more perfect and I cannot count how many times I nearly cried when I saw all the work and effort that went into making the ceremony and reception look absolutely stunning. I had an issue with shortening my bustle a little more for our First Dance... Kari and her assistant got down to the FLOOR to help add some safety pins and add extra bandages to my poor toes. That is how much they care!!! You cannot go wrong with Allora & Ivy Event Co!!!

It's difficult to put into words the impact Kari has had not just on our wedding day, but every day leading up to the wedding (and the days after!!). Kari is the perfect package - she is so involved in the DFW area and had many personal referrals for each vendor, she encourages you to create your own vision but is there to help craft it (every step of the way if you need it - I know I did!), she gets things DONE and is the ultimate timeline/budget guru, and she is kind, giving of her time, a voice of reason, and honestly a whole of of fun!

I wanted a planner who would do more than figure out the logistics of the wedding. I wanted a planner who was personable, creative, and didn't use a cookie cutter approach to planning. Kari absolutely exceeded my expectations in all these areas. I'm still amazed at how perfectly smooth the wedding day was - every vendor was on time with the right materials, every napkin was perfectly placed, and every sign, flower arrangement, and piece of decor had a purpose. The details are what makes a wedding unique and different, and Kari has a HUGE attention to detail.

Brides - you have TONS of options, make these next months of planning a little less stressful and a lot more life-giving. Kari will do exactly that, I promise!

Truly not enough great things I can say about Kari! She is incredibly organized and has an amazing eye for what makes a wedding perfect! I handed her what felt like a judge lodge of ideas and she transformed them into the most beautiful garden party themed wedding imaginable! Would recommend her time and again to everyone!
