I cannot say enough amazing things about Kalyn!! We used her for our engagement photos, wedding, and I also did boudoir with her. She’s so sweet and made both of us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We’re absolutely in LOVE with how the pictures turned out! Let me say to begin with that I found Kalyn through her shooting a friends wedding years ago. I kept in casual touch with her through Instagram and when she offered mini sessions, I jumped at the chance. Who knew that at that mini session, my now wife would propose there. From there, I was sold on Kalyn and of course hired her for my intimate destination wedding. Kalyn went above and beyond the entire weekend, not only making sure she got the shots for me and my family, but also constantly checked in to see how we were all doing emotionally. (She even went with a different location day of the wedding to scout a location for pictures different than my venue because I just had a vision in my mind.) She captured my dream wedding and contributed to my dream weekend. I could not recommend Kalyn more and would highly suggest, if Kalyn is free, to book her- you will not regret it.

Okay, I know everyone says their photographer is the best but Kalyn actually is! Hire her for every bit of your wedding. We got her package which included 10 hours with two shooters and 6 hours of videography on the wedding day, an engagement session, and bridals. Kalyn is a legit beast. She handles everything flawlessly. She made us so comfortable, and she actually cares about what you and your FH want. She takes care of issues, respects your privacy and is so so so talented. Everyone at our wedding loved her. I also hired her for a boudoir shoot. She was a dream to work with. I had never done anything like that but with her it was fun and easy. She is truly a gem. I plan to hire her for every major life event we want photographed including family portraits. I know photographers are a huge expense so spend the money and hire Kalyn. She gets you a few photos within 48 hours of a shoot including the wedding, she is that awesome. We appreciated her professionalism so much. My sister’s boyfriend was talking about proposing during our wedding and she came to me before anything happened. I was all for it so she and her team coordinated with our wedding planner and our DJ to make it happen. They even took pictures and a video from every angle!! It was so wonderful.

Kalyn traveled to Nashville for our intimate ceremony in April. She exceeded all expectations throughout the process and especially on our wedding day. We can’t recommend her enough! Not only is her photography beautiful, she’s also a great person. She kept us calm and made us laugh on our wedding day.

My wedding was originally scheduled in April 2020 but due to covid, we had to postpone twice. Kalyn was so patient and thoughtful during the whole planning phase! We opted to get wedding pictures done before the actually wedding in case we got pregnant- there was a huge mishap with my hair and makeup that day and Kalyn helped calm me down and looked at other options. Additionally, my husband forgot his shirt to that photo shoot and Kalyn suggested that she waited for him to go get a shirt!! My wedding was amazing and am so glad we went with Kalyn! She got great shots of everybody and my guests even commented that they didn’t see her snapping pics! Kalyn is a great photographer and person! I would highly recommend you reach out to her!!

YALL I had the pleasure of working with Kalyn for my bridals. My photographer had to cancel on my bridals SIX days before they were scheduled and the photography gods placed Kalyn in my life. I could not have asked for a better bridal session. Kalyn made me feel so special and her attention to detail down to the smallest inch for the best lighting was incredible. I was SO NERVOUS for my bridals and she put me right at ease. Not only did she come through for me last minute but she was so responsive every time I had a question. My only regret is I didn't find her sooner. If you have the opportunity to work with Kalyn DO IT!!

While we did not ultimately hire Kalyn Shae Photography for our wedding, we still rave about her quality of work, incredible eye, professionalism, and genuine character. We loved everything about Kalyn: photography skill, capturing the light, style, kindness, value. Kalyn is a true loving human and artist who will capture all of your day in exquisite detail. We ultimately chose a different photographer, but wanted to leave a review. She is worth it!
