Juniper Preserve

Juniper Preserve is an amazing venue with amazing services. All our guests were able to completely relax and enjoy themselves and there was very little stress on our end. From set-up to clean-up everything was taken care of which helped us so much. I would highly recommend juniper to anyone who is looking for a low stress wedding.

Melody was absolutely amazing! She was prompt to respond and extremely proactive with this surprise proposal. She went above and beyond to make my now fiancé and I's day so very special by organizing transport, another location for pictures and restaurant accommodations, all of which were even a surprise to me! I would highly recommend working with Melody.


CONTACTING: Initially, contacting the right person was difficult. I did not know who I needed to talk to, but five people and three months later I was looped in with Melody.
I started planning for a surprise proposal, in February, that was going to take place during a family trip to Juniper Preserve in May. I had called and set up dinner reservations for Iris, a restaurant at the resort, and wanted to organize a small private space in or near the restaurant for the proposal itself. The first person I spoke to through their main contact line had transferred me to the events department. I called the events office multiple times with no answer and left a voicemail to which was responded to over a week later. I spoke to someone about my plan and they gave me the contact information for a food and drink manager who they believed was better equipped to accommodate this. I reached out to this person via phone and email; he was on vacation and I heard back from him about two weeks later. He then referred me back to events via email. Someone from events looped in another person. This person finally looped in Melody. Once Melody took over, it was nothing but great!

THE PROPOSAL: By this point I had already been able to discuss some of the private areas with other members of the events team. Most of the areas had a price tag, and I was on a budget. So, I planned on taking a walk into the Ghost Tree forrest, which was free. So that the proposal could be private, Melody arranged for some resort employees to be posted at each end of the trail that passes this area to nonchalantly block any other foot traffic (for a small fee that was minimal compared to the other areas). The plan was to show up early for the dinner reservation on "accident" and have the host/hostess tell us that the table was not quite ready and to feel free to take a walk until they text us - Melody organized this with the restaurant staff. I checked in the day of and asked Melody if there was going to be anyone on Spirit Island - a small, private island of a pond on the course near the restaurant - as it was a better location for pictures. I did not discuss this option with her in advance as I was initially quoted a hefty price for a minimum of four hours of a reservation. She stated that no one had reserved the island and asked if we wanted to just have the proposal there instead at no charge. My answer was an obvious yes as this was the ideal plan from the beginning if there hadn't been as high of a price tag. She made sure the chain was up until a few minutes before my fiancé and I planned on crossing the bridge, set up champagne on ice on the island, and surprised both my fiancé and myself (after we took some photos with family on the island) with a golf cart to chauffeur us to the cave entrances for more photos. Our family that was present went back to the restaurant and when we returned from taking pictures, we found out that Melody set us and the family up in a private room at the restaurant as well! She went above and beyond for my fiancé and I at no extra cost and we can not thank her enough!

Pronghorn was the most magical wedding venue we could have ever imagined. The staff is accommodating, flexible, and friendly. The property is breathtaking. We truly had our dream wedding thanks to this amazing place. We wanted an intimate destination wedding, and Pronghorn delivered. All of our guests were raving about the amenities and their experience. They were a little short-staffed due to COVID, but they worked so hard not to skip a beat. I cannot speak highly enough of Pronghorn. They also provided a preferred vendor list that was very helpful in narrowing down our vendors for our destination wedding. Thank you for a magical experience for us and our guests!

As a floral designer, I'm able to work with a variety of venues on weddings. Pronhorn's Staff blew me away with their professionalism, their smiles and positive attitudes, and they made my job extremely easy from the moment I arrived to set up until the moment I came late that night to pick up the flowers and vases. I can't recommend them enough. I've worked with many venues and this is one of the best! Highly recommend.

The first time i was married in a castle in Scotland. It was awesome. My mother said... How are you going to beat that...? I did. Pronghorn is so lovely. The people are helpful and organized and professional. It was absolutely perfect. I am very hard to please and it was truly the best.

We had a winter wedding at Pronghorn, and above anything else, our experience working with Lauren Jensen, the event coordinator, was what truly stood out. Lauren is incredibly organized, amazingly thorough, and always responsive. We loved working with her, and knew we were in good hands throughout the process. We were "over-promised" by a sales person that is no longer there in terms of what came with our package, and even though it wasn't necessarily their problem, Lauren and the new event manager went out of their way to honor our initial contract.

It's a beautiful venue, the outdoor pictures are phenomenal, and our guests kept talking about how great the food was. We'd totally go to Lauren and team again for our next wedding! ;)

Pronghorn Resort is breath-takingly beautiful and the staff members are perfect. Their services and accommodations were top notch and I couldn't have asked for a better venue. Lauren, the event coordinator for Pronghorn, was extraordinary. She worked so hard to make sure our day was perfect, and it truly did turn out exactly how we had planned for 2+ years. There were no hiccups or issues on our wedding weekend (seems unlikely, but it's the truth) due to this venue and their professionalism. Additionally, the food was scrumptious; our guests couldn't stop talking about the food that was served and how mouth-watering it was. My husband Benjamin and I plan to return every year on our anniversary because we just love this place so much! I would recommend Pronghorn to everyone who wants an unforgettable experience that can be reflected on for the rest of your lives.

I had my wedding here last month (June 2018), and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is so unique and beautiful, you can't get any better! The events coordinator, Lauren, was so helpful and was such a pleasure to work with throughout my entire wedding planning experience. The entire Pronghorn staff is professional and amazing to work with! Would absolutely recommend Pronghorn to anyone!

The Pronghorn gave us the most magical wedding! They thought of every detail! The views were absolutely breath taking and photo perfect. More importantly the staff delivered the most magnificent event. The entire staff were aware of our needs and were there to give us anything and everything we needed. Our wedding coordinator Lauren was amazingly communicative and treated us as if our wedding was the most important event of the century. She worked beautifully with us from afar so that upon our arrival all details were shored up and ready. On our special day we didn’t have to look for her or wait for anything she was there to help at a moments notice.

Lastly, the resort itself. We fell in love with Pronghorn on our initial tour but then when our guests began to arrive everyone was amazed by the beautiful, comfortable rooms and all the amenities that were included. Summer or winter The Pronghorn is the most perfect venue you could find.

I am glad that we got married at the Pronghorn resort. Lauren (the wedding coordinator) and the whole staff was absolutely stunning.
