About the Photographer

As a professional photographer, I strive to capture the moments you create on your wedding day! I am a graduate of the University of Iowa where I pursued the start of my career as a photojournalist for newspapers. After moving halfway across the country and endeavoring in other outlooks in life, I put my photography skills and photojournalistic style together to capture life’s moments in North Carolina. While, I started my adventures in Wilmington, NC, I am now located in Chapel Hill. My services will continue to be offered in Wilmington and the surrounding beach areas, as well as the Triangle area.

With a focus on weddings and the developmental stages of infants and children as they explore the world, my photography boundaries are endless. I seek to capture the personalities in my subjects. I don’t create the moments, I capture them as they come alive. I have photographed everything from weddings, babies, and families to Big Ten Football Bowl Games, devastating floods, and other memorable events. I was also an assistant to a wedding photographer for two years before taking on my own clients.

With affordable rates, you won't have to worry about price per print, or ordering within a certain time frame. My photography rates include a DVD of all high resolution photos, along with a photo release so that you are able to upload your photos to your computer, and order them from a lab of your choice.
