I cant say enough about my experience at Joy Abendmode Bridal. I traveled all the way from Pittsburgh, PA for my visit and the selection at the bridal shop is sooo amazing! There is literally something for every bride. My visit to the bridal shop was great! Meredith and Cydney were extremely prompt, warm, friendly, and they really made me feel like a star during my visit. The ladies were also very honest and knowledgable about the dresses, order timeline, and sizing which is very important during this process. My only gripe is I wish my visit could have been a little longer than one hour. I went in with a game plan and very specific dresses/ brands that I wanted to try on. However if I didn’t know that in advance, 1 hour would truly have not been enough time to find the dress of my dreams. I chose a Millanova dress that was not available in Pittsburgh, and I was so very happy that I was able to try on the gown prior to ordering. Meredith followed up after my visit and has been very communicative throughout this entire process. I truly cant wait to return to pick up my dress and hang out with ladies again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wow. I have nothing but great things to say about this shop! I had a bridal appointment with Meredith and Dianna and it couldn’t have gone any better. These ladies made my dress experience easy, fun, and completely stress free. I can’t recommend this store enough. They have a pretty large collection of dresses and they are all so stunning. I found my dress quickly and Meredith caught all the good angles of me in my dress and sent all the photos to my phone at the end of my appointment. If I could give them 100 stars, I absolutely would!

When I got engaged in April, I already had an idea of my dream dress. However, I thought I would have to go out of the state to find it. Boy was I wrong….after a quick google search for black owned bridal boutiques…Joy Abendmode Bridal popped up. I looked through their collections and booked my appointment. From speaking with Linda regarding my appointment to my actual consultation….the experience was amazing.
I thought I would have to go to other stores, but I found my dream dress in one appointment. I’m so thankful for Meredith & Dianna for providing me with an experience I will never forget. I highly recommend Joy Abendmode to all future brides.

I had a great experience picking out my dress here! It was the first place I tried on any dresses and their selection was stunning. There was a dress that I fell in love with, but was hesitant to commit to, since I never thought I'd be that lucky to find a dress at the first place I shop. I went to a few more stores, but inevitably came back a couple weeks later to finally purchase the dress I loved from the beginning. Meredith and Diana were both great and so helpful during this process. Neither were pushy, even when I was scared to commit to the dress at my first visit. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want a unique, beautiful dress!

My experience at Joy Abendmode was better than I ever could have imagined, especially because I was dress shopping during the pandemic. I brought my sister and fiance with me, and we had the full store to ourselves with the AMAZING Meredith. I've watched a lot of "Say Yes to the Dress" in my time, and I was so worried about getting the right consultant - someone who got me and my insecurities - and Meredith was like a straight up fairy godmother. She put me at ease, she let my sister and fiance be their crazy selves, and she really, really paid attention to how I responded to each dress. She did not rush me or pressure me, and the salon had one of my favorite designers ever (which a lot of other places did not have). I said yes to my dress, and it was my very first appointment trying things on. Meredith also picked the perfect veil, and the whole thing came together more flawlessly than I could have hoped for. As someone who doesn't always feel beautiful, I couldn't have felt better about myself after leaving my appointment and saying yes to the absolute perfect dress and veil.

Joy Abendmode Bridal was a dream. I always knew picking out a wedding dress would be amazing..but not like this!! They went above and beyond to make my experience personal and special. I wanted to keep on every dress I tried on! I fell in love with one, but wanted them all! They carry the top designers, I felt like I was in a million dollar dress but was pleasantly surprised with the price. If I had to do it all over I would go to the same place every time! I can't stop thinking about what a dream it was. Thank you to all the staff at Joy!!

Diana and Meredith are so knowledgeable, sweet, and overall amazing to work with. They were so helpful and made my experience with them so much fun. I felt like I was trying on dresses with my dearest friend. These women truly love what they do and it’s very obvious in the way that they work. I would recommend this store over and over.

My daughter found her dream dress this weekend at Joy. What a truly magical experience that we will treasure forever. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left the consultants made it an unforgettable experience.

After reviewing the dresses on their website I had an idea of the styles I wanted to try and Meredith pulled everything I wanted until I found the silhouette that worked for me.
