Jose personally shot our wedding and did an amazing job. He made everything feel natural. I was worried since I had never been filmed before but it was like he was not even there. It was natural and he captured all of the beautiful moments from beginning to end. He was very friendly and enjoyed having him there. If you take the time to look at his trailers, you will realize that what he offers is head and shoulders above the competition! We highly recommend him to anyone!

I can't even begin to describe how happy I am that I chose to work with Jose on my wedding video. He is just the most fun, enthusiastic, artistic and professional vendor I have ever met. We had a blast with him on the wedding day. He comes up with ideas you would never think of yourself and they turn out so beautifully. He also manages to be incredibly noninvasive, which is quite a feat when you consider all the candid moments that he captures. I also have to say that he drove up to Savannah from Tampa the night before the wedding AFTER shooting a wedding in Tampa and was on top of his game all day, starting at about 8 am and ending at 11 pm. He also wanted to do some shots in downtown Savannah with us the morning after our wedding! He is like an Energizer Bunny, I don't know how he does it. He is also a really nice guy. I could continue with the compliments here but I will leave it there. If you're looking for a fantastic videographer, Jose Ortiz is the way to go.

After talking to a girlfriend of mine whom had just gotten married, the one piece of advice she gave me was to hire a videographer. She said, "It all goes by so fast, the months of planning and in a few hours it's over! The pictures are great but they can't show all the details, emotions or tell the story like a video can."
I couldn't be happier that I took her advice, and the advice of my photographer when she recommended JJvideo do the cinematography for our wedding. As the mother of the groom, I want to use every possible positively divine adjective to describe the services provided to us by Jose, Jet and their crew! I found JJ VideoFilm on the internet. There were many others who cost less, but we know that with video and photography services, there is no chance for a "do over". This is not a job for an "average thinker" with a camcorder. You get what you pay for! Also, I am a stickler for a good and honest business person. If you tell me you will do something, that is what I expect. Demanding? Probably.....As you know Jose, I am a retired National Award Winning video producer with 20 plus years of experience shooting and editing events myself. Having to hire a company to do what was certainly the highest thing on our priority list, long distance (we live in CT) presented issues for me! My son was marrying the girl of his dreams at the Best Western, Yacht Harbor Inn, Dunedin, FL. My concerns? That I wouldn't be able to relax enough to "just be a parent". I thought surely, I would be dawning my producer cap on this most special of days. Jose, I tried to hide it when I contacted you for your services, but now that the day has past, I will admit it, I am a known control freak! To my utter surprise, I had nothing to worry about!...I was able to see that your crew had something very special going on. My husband and I have been out of the business for nearly 8 years now. I'll admit that your new fangled equipment had me scratching my head at times...All cutting edge, nice stuff! I was so impressed with your entire crew's attention to detail and confidence level that I decided to "let it go" and give over the reigns.... Never worrying one bit throughout the entire event...Well, not exactly true...I did exceed my promise to my husband to only take a few still photos!

Wow! I could never have imagined the personal very emotional impact of your results! ... Everyone seeing something different in it for their own viewing...When you hear the music and it seems that the song was chosen "just for them"...You come away knowing that your ability reaches much further than that of editing clips to the frame on a computer!

How ironic that Julie was 90% opposed to having a video! She only gave into the concept with deference to what we wanted. Now, of course as has been our experience always...but, even more so driven by your artwork on your web site...She is giggling happy to have had you there! ...The event goes by so very quickly, she now admits emphatically that having the ceremony and reception recorded was the greatest idea ever! LOL! She'll wait with baited breath for the longer version to be finalized. Me too!

The highlight view was on your site as soon as we hit the door back home! I cried big gulping tears from watching it...and have taken phone call after phone call, email after email from those who were not able to make it to the wedding and those that attended. All with expressions of being awestruck with what you created for Mike and Julie. I don't know how to tell you how much we appreciate the gift that you gave of your talents. The gift that you gave allowing my husband and me to enjoy ourselves at one of the rare special occasions, we didn't have to work ourselves! Not that I didn't love it when it was my charge. Watching you (just out of the corner of my eye, lol) brought back great feelings from our hey day....Those "WERE" the days, my friend!

I hope you don't think me pretentious to give any advice. We enjoyed our career in this field for a very long time....And now that I look into the mirror and see my mother....(something that really hit me on my son's wedding day, btw!)....I so appreciate your youth. It takes a strong back to do this job as well....!!! The people who succeed in this business have a deep passion for story telling...For being a part of and creating "for all posterity" the memories that families cherish most....To have longevity requires excellence! Excellence on location, in the office and in the studio. Always, always stay true to yourself. Sleep well, knowing your decisions in business are most fair. Ethics are a lost cause on the smaller person...And often (dare I say?)the "special event field" is riddling with those that literally have no couth! Caution your clients to stay clear of such vultures....Does one really save anything if the result is less than the best? I am here to testify, I have heard enough regret from those that did not take heed...Guide your Brides and Grooms, Mitzvah Mom's and others toward those that are worthy of their trust....Excellence is something you and your lovely partner, Jet are brimming with! ....I pray always for you and yours..."What you send out to this world is returned to you ten fold!"

Jose and his wife were completely open and available for most anything you could think of. To have to experience a wedding and capture the event on film be it Photography or video.....and not even know the crew is even around ....well that would be amazing right?! Well, thats the kind of quality you get with JJvideofilm...At times it was kind of hard to get to speak to Jose due to his regular daytime job, but a few hours later, be it E-mail or phone call, he gets right back to you. Cost was fair for the work that I had seen on the website and on our one on one consult, but for what My wife and I got for a video...it was well worth the cost.

This was by far the best investment that we made for our wedding. There is so much that as the Bride and Groom you dont get to see. Jose and Jetisy did an amazing job capturing our entire wedding day. When I watched the video for the first time I was so happy to see what was going on while I was getting ready! I still get goosebumps everytime I watch the video. Another point I wanted to add was that it was wonderful to have a husband and wife team. They were able to capture both myself and my husband getting ready at the same time because there was two people.
