Jose personally shot our wedding and did an amazing job. He made everything feel natural. I was worried since I had never been filmed before but it was like he was not even there. It was natural and he captured all of the beautiful moments from beginning to end. He was very friendly and enjoyed having him there. If you take the time to look at his trailers, you will realize that what he offers is head and shoulders above the competition! We highly recommend him to anyone!

they are amazing... i loved them.. they were soo nice.. the only bad thing is that they are amazing so their wait time is like 5 to 9 months getting they video

I can't even begin to describe how happy I am that I chose to work with Jose on my wedding video. He is just the most fun, enthusiastic, artistic and professional vendor I have ever met. We had a blast with him on the wedding day. He comes up with ideas you would never think of yourself and they turn out so beautifully. He also manages to be incredibly noninvasive, which is quite a feat when you consider all the candid moments that he captures. I also have to say that he drove up to Savannah from Tampa the night before the wedding AFTER shooting a wedding in Tampa and was on top of his game all day, starting at about 8 am and ending at 11 pm. He also wanted to do some shots in downtown Savannah with us the morning after our wedding! He is like an Energizer Bunny, I don't know how he does it. He is also a really nice guy. I could continue with the compliments here but I will leave it there. If you're looking for a fantastic videographer, Jose Ortiz is the way to go.

After talking to a girlfriend of mine whom had just gotten married, the one piece of advice she gave me was to hire a videographer. She said, "It all goes by so fast, the months of planning and in a few hours it's over! The pictures are great but they can't show all the details, emotions or tell the story like a video can."
I couldn't be happier that I took her advice, and the advice of my photographer when she recommended JJvideo do the cinematography for our wedding. Jose and his lovely wife Jetsiry were extremely professional; they knew exactly what shots they wanted to make the video come together beautifully. They were a true pleasure to work with.
They put their heart into these videos and it shows! My husband and I just got our wedding video in the mail today, I was welled up with tears from the beginning to the end...my husband even teared up! We were amazed at how they were able to capture all the important moments of the evening and the intricate details that went along with it to create a beautiful memory of our wedding day. It was like no other wedding video I've seen, more like a movie, and well worth the money and the wait!

They have a true talent and I feel very fortunate to have found them. I highly recommend JJvideo, and you will too!

JJ Video turned out to be a fantastic choice for our daughter's wedding! The crew was very creative and professional. The wedding trailer and movie in HD turned out excellently. They really captured the essence of our daughter and her husband and we could not be happier with their work. Thanks to Jose and his team!

As the mother of the groom, I want to use every possible positively divine adjective to describe the services provided to us by Jose, Jet and their crew! I found JJ VideoFilm on the internet. There were many others who cost less, but we know that with video and photography services, there is no chance for a "do over". This is not a job for an "average thinker" with a camcorder. You get what you pay for! Also, I am a stickler for a good and honest business person. If you tell me you will do something, that is what I expect. Demanding? Probably.....As you know Jose, I am a retired National Award Winning video producer with 20 plus years of experience shooting and editing events myself. Having to hire a company to do what was certainly the highest thing on our priority list, long distance (we live in CT) presented issues for me! My son was marrying the girl of his dreams at the Best Western, Yacht Harbor Inn, Dunedin, FL. My concerns? That I wouldn't be able to relax enough to "just be a parent". I thought surely, I would be dawning my producer cap on this most special of days. Jose, I tried to hide it when I contacted you for your services, but now that the day has past, I will admit it, I am a known control freak! To my utter surprise, I had nothing to worry about!...I was able to see that your crew had something very special going on. My husband and I have been out of the business for nearly 8 years now. I'll admit that your new fangled equipment had me scratching my head at times...All cutting edge, nice stuff! I was so impressed with your entire crew's attention to detail and confidence level that I decided to "let it go" and give over the reigns.... Never worrying one bit throughout the entire event...Well, not exactly true...I did exceed my promise to my husband to only take a few still photos!

Wow! I could never have imagined the personal very emotional impact of your results! ... Everyone seeing something different in it for their own viewing...When you hear the music and it seems that the song was chosen "just for them"...You come away knowing that your ability reaches much further than that of editing clips to the frame on a computer!

How ironic that Julie was 90% opposed to having a video! She only gave into the concept with deference to what we wanted. Now, of course as has been our experience always...but, even more so driven by your artwork on your web site...She is giggling happy to have had you there! ...The event goes by so very quickly, she now admits emphatically that having the ceremony and reception recorded was the greatest idea ever! LOL! She'll wait with baited breath for the longer version to be finalized. Me too!

The highlight view was on your site as soon as we hit the door back home! I cried big gulping tears from watching it...and have taken phone call after phone call, email after email from those who were not able to make it to the wedding and those that attended. All with expressions of being awestruck with what you created for Mike and Julie. I don't know how to tell you how much we appreciate the gift that you gave of your talents. The gift that you gave allowing my husband and me to enjoy ourselves at one of the rare special occasions, we didn't have to work ourselves! Not that I didn't love it when it was my charge. Watching you (just out of the corner of my eye, lol) brought back great feelings from our hey day....Those "WERE" the days, my friend!

I hope you don't think me pretentious to give any advice. We enjoyed our career in this field for a very long time....And now that I look into the mirror and see my mother....(something that really hit me on my son's wedding day, btw!)....I so appreciate your youth. It takes a strong back to do this job as well....!!! The people who succeed in this business have a deep passion for story telling...For being a part of and creating "for all posterity" the memories that families cherish most....To have longevity requires excellence! Excellence on location, in the office and in the studio. Always, always stay true to yourself. Sleep well, knowing your decisions in business are most fair. Ethics are a lost cause on the smaller person...And often (dare I say?)the "special event field" is riddling with those that literally have no couth! Caution your clients to stay clear of such vultures....Does one really save anything if the result is less than the best? I am here to testify, I have heard enough regret from those that did not take heed...Guide your Brides and Grooms, Mitzvah Mom's and others toward those that are worthy of their trust....Excellence is something you and your lovely partner, Jet are brimming with! ....I pray always for you and yours..."What you send out to this world is returned to you ten fold!"

"NO DAY IS OVER IF IT MAKES A MEMORY" But, it sure helps to have a video!

Jose and his wife were completely open and available for most anything you could think of. To have to experience a wedding and capture the event on film be it Photography or video.....and not even know the crew is even around ....well that would be amazing right?! Well, thats the kind of quality you get with JJvideofilm...At times it was kind of hard to get to speak to Jose due to his regular daytime job, but a few hours later, be it E-mail or phone call, he gets right back to you. Cost was fair for the work that I had seen on the website and on our one on one consult, but for what My wife and I got for a video...it was well worth the cost.

Warm, caring and professional. Loved working with them, from our first meeting right thru receipt of the final and gorgeous video! Great value, real artists. As MOB, I can't recommend them highly enough...they are creative but also responsive to the bride and groom's wants and needs...you will be very pleased.

This was by far the best investment that we made for our wedding. There is so much that as the Bride and Groom you dont get to see. Jose and Jetisy did an amazing job capturing our entire wedding day. When I watched the video for the first time I was so happy to see what was going on while I was getting ready! I still get goosebumps everytime I watch the video. Another point I wanted to add was that it was wonderful to have a husband and wife team. They were able to capture both myself and my husband getting ready at the same time because there was two people.

I highly recommend JJVideoFilm.

One of the most pleasant and professional individuals we had the privilege to work with prior to, during and after our very special day. Even more, the husband (Jose) and wife (Jetsiry) team was so patient with all of our needs throughout the entire experience. While the husband captures the groom, the wife is with the bride, which when all put together in the final video, the story of the special day truly comes together. Finally, service was impeccable. Even after the "contract" relationship ended, i.e., receipt of the final video and paid in full, Jose and Jetsiry were readily available to fulfill our further needs, in our case additional copies of the final video to send to family and friends. The only reason for the four and a half stars out of five for "Quality of Service" is due to a sound issue on a small but significant portion of the video (groom's toast) as a result of a dead lavalier microphone. Still, Jose made great effort to amplify another sound channel to pick up the groom's sound sufficiently. We would absolutely use JJ Video Film again. We absolutely recommend the husband and wife team to anyone who is looking for a piece of art of their special day.

We were first introduced to Jose by our wedding planner. We discussed in detail what we wanted to Jose and the planner, as the wedding video is one of the most important and memorable parts of the wedding for us. We were rushed to sign the contract and to pay thousands of dollars up front, but we did it with the hope that Jose would deliver what was on our contract and emails. The way he conducts business is unreal.

Months after our wedding, he finally posted the short clip of the concept film on his own social media. The film was beautiful, but it only covered a fraction of our wedding. We thought we will just see the rest of the special day in our full video.

Our full video is pure garbage. The quality is so poor, the camera is shaking and out of focus, it’s not fully edited, and there are so many important parts missing. It does not compare what-so-ever to the short film he did. Our entire family is confused and upset with just how awful our film is. We all believe Jose only spent time on editing and capturing for the short film for his own exposure. We planned and did so much for our wedding, NOTHING is fully captured in our full video. We spent so much time trying to talk to him and explain to him that we were not fully happy, but he was so rude to us and said basically to take it or leave it and even hung up on my husband and I. It breaks my heart to see someone be so horrible and not even try to be helpful.

Jose is extremely money driven and does not care about the importance of a couple’s wedding day. My photographer was the exact opposite. I wish more people would actually care about how special this day is for a couple and their families. We paid him a good $5,000 over our original budget for videography. That was a lot extra over what we had set aside. IT WAS SO NOT WORTH IT. Our full video is just HORRIBLE.

Originally we were not thinking of responding to this post because, we try to invest our full time in our clients. We had many reviews by clients online with a clear pattern of representing who we really are. Thank you to those clients who took the time to write reviews during the years, online voluntarily. Lucky for us our clients do research with other Brides plus industry vendor’s to get a real feedback of who we are. We have built a reputation in 10 years that speaks for itself thanks to our clients. Quality and customer service is the reason and growth of our business. Nothing was rushed like this client says. We even spend hours responding long emails describing all the details of the services by client request. Contract was including all items requested by client at that time she signed she was 100% ok with all the information. We never behave rudely with our clients or people and much less with guests at these events. We always conduct myself in a professional manner. We always try to make clients happy and the rest of the other client reviews online are good sample of it. Let’s not confuse “being rude” with making sure a client is not abusing from our good service intentions. After hearing about the Bride’s unfair complaints we sent her planner a copy link of the entire product with the contract to allow for her to verify and witness our final delivery product. For us it was very important to have someone familiar with the contract and negotiation looking upon the final delivery and making sure her client received what was requested in contract with the quality you’ve come to expect of the final product. The planner revised and agreed with us and did not find any reason for the client to have a claim on us. I encourage every client to ask around who we really are before just going by reviews like this one. I appreciate and value the sacrifice you all do when hiring us. I pay it back with our best effort, respect, hard work and service to you.
