As a same-sex couple, having a photographer who was part of and/or was a demonstrated ally to the LGBTQ+ was important to us. In Jodi, we found an inclusive professional who proudly shot LGBTQ+ weddings. Within our first meeting, we immediately felt welcome and at ease, and she took the time to get to know us as a couple and as individuals. Asking her to be our photographer was a no-brainer, and continuing to work with her was a wonderful experience. While the images of our engagement session and the wedding day are amazing and are memories we will have for a lifetime; I will never forget how Jodi made me feel. We met Jodi at a friend's wedding where I was a bridesmaid and we were in the midst of planning our own wedding. Jodi and I immediately bonded, and I can say she made my day seamless, special, and took the most gorgeous pictures that I go back to constantly to be reminded of what a magical day it was. Jodi flew from Cleveland to Seattle to photograph my wedding and it was worth every penny and more.

Jodi was very professional and so friendly. I knew from our initial face time that she would be a great fit as our photographer for our wedding day. She is so sweet and takes the time to get to know her couple. Her photos from our wedding day captured so many moments that I still look back on and can feel and remember as if I am there again. She is very easy to communicate with and was there to support me through the craziness of the wedding day when things started to go a little off track! She sent us a must shoot list where you are able to write down specific family/friends pictures you want which gave me piece of mind. She worked so well without out bridal party of 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen. Her brother was the second photographer with her on our wedding day and also caught so many great moments from our first look to our first dance! I highly recommend her for your wedding day if you want someone who cares and wants her couple to be stress free and enjoy their day! She also had us come to her studio to do a “first look” of the wedding photos which I thought was such an amazing experience!

From start to finish, working with Jodi and her team for our backyard wedding (and later for family pictures with our son) was a wonderful experience. All of of our interactions with Jodi and her brother Sean were a delight. They were always very easy to communicate with and responsive when we had questions. They were very professional and were always where they needed to be without having to be asked. Jodi and Sean stuck an amazing balance of listening to what we wanted and giving is us guidance when we weren't sure what we wanted. For example, we got a package that included engagement photos. Both my wife and I had some reservations (I don't really like having my photo taken and she doesn't like public displays of affection). Jodi and Sean did an amazing job of making us both feel comfortable and took some amazing photos that we would never have asked for. The photos themselves also exceeded our expectations. For our wedding, they were at the venue for about 6 hours and we got about 1500 photos. They did a great job of capturing the whole event. All the guests were impressed with how they seemed to be every where at once and they caught some great candid moments. We got married at the Akron Art Museum, and the museum featured one of our photos prominently in their magazine, so we're not the only ones impressed with Jodi and Sean's photography. All in all, we couldn't have asked for for a better experience when it came to wedding photographers. I whole heartedly recommend you hire them for your wedding. You won't be sorry!

Jodi Hutton Photography made our day even more special. We had a virtual meeting prior to our day, as an introduction and also to discuss our relationship history, likes and dislikes for photos. I stayed in contact with Jodi and shared inspiration pictures with her. She was very welcoming of my input. Jodi and her assistant were helpful, professional, inspiring, very creative and just a joy to be around on our wedding day. We loved our candid pics and our posed shots equally.
