As a same-sex couple, having a photographer who was part of and/or was a demonstrated ally to the LGBTQ+ was important to us. In Jodi, we found an inclusive professional who proudly shot LGBTQ+ weddings. Within our first meeting, we immediately felt welcome and at ease, and she took the time to get to know us as a couple and as individuals. Asking her to be our photographer was a no-brainer, and continuing to work with her was a wonderful experience. While the images of our engagement session and the wedding day are amazing and are memories we will have for a lifetime; I will never forget how Jodi made me feel. As a self-described anxious person and anxious bride, Jodi was instrumental in creating a stress-free wedding day. She was calm, anticipated needs, bolstered our self-confidence, and effortlessly coordinated pictures with us and our wedding party in an unrushed fashion, making the day feel like a breeze. I’m so grateful she was part of our day and was our wedding photographer. -

My wife and I could not be happier that we hired Jodi Hutton as our wedding photographer! She did an amazing job capturing the day and our love for each other. We really wanted the focus of our photos to be the authentic moments of our wedding and we were thrilled with the results.
She is very professional, kind and passionate about her work. Her communication is thorough and helps you walk through beforehand the types of photos that are most important to you as a couple.
Additionally, Jodi was awesome at keeping us on schedule and was a calming/organized presence during the hectic months of the day.
I highly recommend hiring Jodi as your wedding photographer! You will not be disappointed! -

We met Jodi at a friend's wedding where I was a bridesmaid and we were in the midst of planning our own wedding. Jodi and I immediately bonded, and I can say she made my day seamless, special, and took the most gorgeous pictures that I go back to constantly to be reminded of what a magical day it was. Jodi flew from Cleveland to Seattle to photograph my wedding and it was worth every penny and more. -

Jodi was very professional and so friendly. I knew from our initial face time that she would be a great fit as our photographer for our wedding day. She is so sweet and takes the time to get to know her couple. Her photos from our wedding day captured so many moments that I still look back on and can feel and remember as if I am there again. She is very easy to communicate with and was there to support me through the craziness of the wedding day when things started to go a little off track! She sent us a must shoot list where you are able to write down specific family/friends pictures you want which gave me piece of mind. She worked so well without out bridal party of 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen. Her brother was the second photographer with her on our wedding day and also caught so many great moments from our first look to our first dance! I highly recommend her for your wedding day if you want someone who cares and wants her couple to be stress free and enjoy their day! She also had us come to her studio to do a “first look” of the wedding photos which I thought was such an amazing experience! -

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Jodi and her photography! You can really tell how passionate it she is and iit shows in her work. She made sure everything went incredibly smooth and had all the best advice for our day. She was the best decision we made throughout this whole process. You won't regret it!!! -

A Wonderful, Professional Experience
From start to finish, working with Jodi and her team for our backyard wedding (and later for family pictures with our son) was a wonderful experience. Jodi is equal parts thorough, knowledgeable, accommodating, professional, thoughtful, skilled and fun to work with. I can’t recommend her work enough! -

From the moment my wife and I met Jodi it felt like we had known her forever. We knew at that moment we were going to hire her. She did our engagement session and she made us so comfortable she's like family now. Her photos were to natural and so perfectly highlighted our love. When covid hit and our dreams of our big wedding day were trampled we decided to do an elopement. We had a tiny socially distanced ceremony and we had Jodi there to capture our micro wedding. Gorgeous photos! We plan to do our redo big day celebration next year and Jodi and her crew will definitely be there. We highly recommend Jodi Hutton Photography, you will not be disappointed! -

Fantastic Wedding Photographers
All of of our interactions with Jodi and her brother Sean were a delight. They were always very easy to communicate with and responsive when we had questions. They were very professional and were always where they needed to be without having to be asked. Jodi and Sean stuck an amazing balance of listening to what we wanted and giving is us guidance when we weren't sure what we wanted. For example, we got a package that included engagement photos. Both my wife and I had some reservations (I don't really like having my photo taken and she doesn't like public displays of affection). Jodi and Sean did an amazing job of making us both feel comfortable and took some amazing photos that we would never have asked for. The photos themselves also exceeded our expectations. For our wedding, they were at the venue for about 6 hours and we got about 1500 photos. They did a great job of capturing the whole event. All the guests were impressed with how they seemed to be every where at once and they caught some great candid moments. We got married at the Akron Art Museum, and the museum featured one of our photos prominently in their magazine, so we're not the only ones impressed with Jodi and Sean's photography. All in all, we couldn't have asked for for a better experience when it came to wedding photographers. I whole heartedly recommend you hire them for your wedding. You won't be sorry! -

Jodi Hutton Photography made our day even more special. We had a virtual meeting prior to our day, as an introduction and also to discuss our relationship history, likes and dislikes for photos. I stayed in contact with Jodi and shared inspiration pictures with her. She was very welcoming of my input. Jodi and her assistant were helpful, professional, inspiring, very creative and just a joy to be around on our wedding day. We loved our candid pics and our posed shots equally. The pictures are beautiful and captured our special day in the best way possible. Jodi has such a sparkling personality, and her love for love and couples shows in her work and in her work product. -

Let me start first by saying I could not have worked with a better photographer. There is something amazing about looking at your photos and feeling as though your love is accurately portrayed, captured and made timeless.
From the moment we met Jodi, she made it a point to get to know our love story from beginning to present. She made us feel like she fell in love with who we were as a couple, which makes a huge difference in telling a story through photos.
She made us comfortable and at ease with her. We were able to discuss what we were looking for and we collaborated on some ideas that we hadn't ever considered. She even helped me coordinate our engagement outfits. She made us feel comfortable and at ease. Every picture reflected that and our love for each other.
Jodi was with us every step of the way from engagement to wedding and I can't wait to get our photos back from the wedding. The sneak peeks she gave us are absolutely breathtaking! I am absolute certain that the rest will be something that we will treasure for a lifetime. -
