Welcome to Joanna Mira Photography! I have had a growing love for photography since the first time I picked up a disposable camera when I was 8 years old. The art of photography has since become my passion and the driving force that led me to pursue a degree in photography at Tompkins Cortland Community College in 2010. Upon graduation I began developing my dream of operating my own personal photography business, and thus Joanna Mira Photography was born. I have always enjoyed photographing people and love the challenge of capturing personalities, expressions and emotions through the lens. My photography is more than just your average studio shot. I love using nature as my backdrop, playing with color and light, and creating a story through my photographs. Allow me to be a part of telling "your story" through Joanna Mira Photography!

Perfect fit for out outdoor wedding
We hired Joanna for our rustic outdoor wedding she was amazing! Extremely nice and has alot of passion for her work & is very fairly priced ! We Would recommend her to anyone! So excited to get our pics and see her work! thanks so much Joanna you were great!!!!

Excellent, friendly, active photographer.
Joanna provided an excellent photography service, she arrived early to get the layout and plan her shots out. Once the even started, she never sat still, cpnstantly seeing and setting up fantastic candid shots. She took all the tradional posed and many action photos.

Joanna is so awesome! She was very accommodating and responsive and the quality of the photos we received is fantastic! While she isn't as directorial as she could be when taking group shots she made up for it with her patience and willingness to get us the exact poses we wanted. Our pictures are beautiful and we can't wait to put them up all over our home! Thanks, Joanna!
