Jenny is amazing! We purchased a 3 tier cake for our wedding and it was perfect. Jenny is very responsive and a joy to work with. I highly recommend Jennycakes Bakery!!

We used cupcakes from JennyCakes in Kensington instead of getting a wedding cake, and they were great. The cupcakes are perfectly sized for single-serving desserts at a wedding, and very, very reasonably priced. We served chocolate icing/chocolate cake, mocha/chocolate, vanilla/red velvet, and salted caramel/caramel, as well as some vegan and some gluten-free selections - they were all really good, and we appreciate the variety of the menu. We also served Jenny’s triple chocolate cookies and lemon ricotta cookies – which were really awesome. We highly recommend JennyCakes for any occasion!

Instead of a wedding cake for my daughter's wedding, we used cupcakes from JennyCakes in Kensington. Our guests loved them. Jenny's cupcakes, which have lots of delicious icing, are not giant - which works well for single servings at a wedding. They are also very pretty cupcakes. We served chocolate icing/chocolate cake, mocha/chocolate, vanilla/red velvet, and salted caramel/caramel, but they have other delicious flavors. We had some vegan and some gluten-free selections. We also served trays of Jenny's triple chocolate cookies and lemon ricotta cookies - both of which are special and delicious. JennyCakes prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend JennyCakes for any occasion!

As a cake lover myself and my husband a cookie lover, this shop was made for us. I knew from the start that I did not want a tiered cake, I wanted different types of cakes. I stumbled upon this bakery after searching for cupcake shops other than the trendy ones. My best friend and I went one day and got a bunch of cupcakes/cookies from her shop to taste. I gave the cookies to my husband not thinking much about it and he comes in the kitchen saying these are the best cookies ever. Some from that moment I knew we were going to use her cookies as our favors for our cookie bar. We ended up using the peanut butter blossoms, chocolate chip, m&m, and the magic bars. All delicious. We sampled 12 cupcakes and we had narrowed it down to 4 cakes, chocolate peanut butter, italian cream, german chocolate, and salted caramel. The only regret I had was, I didn't eat enough cake at my wedding. It was easy to communicate with Jenny and to pick the cake/cookies up from her bakery. A bonus, she was so reasonably priced.

We purchased one 3-tiered cake as well as four sheet cakes for our wedding. They turned out beautiful and were super delicious! Jenny was such a pleasure to work with and was super responsive to all of our emails and questions. Highly recommended!

My husband and I wanted to give out cookies as favors at our wedding. We went on a "tasting tour" of bakeries in the area that sold homemade cookies. JennyCakes was the standout among the places we tried. They accommodated our request to have the cookies wrapped in white boxes, which they special ordered for us, and tied with ribbon we provided, saving us the trouble of having to do it the day before our wedding. They also were attentive to making sure that the cookies and bars we picked out were stacked and stored properly to keep overnight. The cookies were a hit. A number of guests thought I had made them and asked for the recipes (I wish!) they were so tasty. We couldn't have been happier with the favors and service we received.
