Services Offered
This wedding photographer shoots with a photojournalistic style. This style allows her to capture the story and the action in a way that is documentary and storytelling, all while remaining unobtrusive on the wedding day. In addition to wedding photography, Jen Araya also shoots boudoir photos and engagement sessions. She is available to work additional hours, shoot in multiple locations, and work with a second shooter for a couple’s wedding. This is made possible because she only books one event per day. The high-resolution images can be given to couples in the form of digital files, albums, and prints.

Jen is simply the best!
I’ve worked with Jen before, as she’s photographed some events for my company, and I’ve always loved her work. So, when we asked her to be our wedding photographer, we were thrilled to find out that she was available! From the start, she was extremely easy to work with and accommodating. We decided to do engagement photos last minute and she not only found time in her schedule, but also found us an incredible location! The engagement pictures were so beautiful that we didn’t think they could get any better for the wedding, but boy were we wrong! Jen delivered the most amazing wedding photos that we will cherish forever! Not only is her work amazing, she’s also just an all around great person. She’s develops relationships with her clients, and they become friends. She’s simply the best! Hire her!

The most calming and gentle photographer you'll find!
Not only did Jen shoot our wedding in a pandemic on August 15th (the very beginning of phase III), but Jen was expecting. Throughout the entire process, she was patient and flexible even with all the uncertainty of quarantining through the summer of 2020. To be honest, she was the one thing I felt happiest about because it was some consistency and the one thing we knew we could rely on! Our subject lines of emails even became an inside joke "just checking in.'' Even in a time of uncertainty she made us certain that we choose the right photographer. The day of she brought a calming presence to a hectic day. We are very happy with the final images, ones that we will cherish forever. It is extremely impressive to receive such an abundance of photos in such a short amount of time. We can't thank Jen enough for all she did.

Jen Araya is the Best!
We had seen Jen work at a friend's daughter's wedding and she impressed us then. Jen was so easy to work with. She guided us through the whole process from the rainy departure from the house to the arrival at the wedding and through the reception. She captured all the great moments for us and we truly appreciated it.

Jen is amazing!
I wish there were more than 5 stars because Jen deserves more. From the moment we sat down to discuss my wedding to the big day, she was 100% professional and ready to go. I have been fortunate enough to have known Jen since childhood, and she is the sweetest and most detail oriented person I've ever met. She has a keen eye for photography and she really delivers. She is organized, flexible, and thorough. My husband and I aren't the best at posing for pictures, but Jen put us at ease and all of our photos are stunning. Jen captured so many beautiful moments that I cannot choose a favorite. I highly recommend her to everyone and I am so grateful to her for producing such special photographs to cherish forever!

Jen was everything we could have imagined!
Working with Jen was beyond perfect. I have known Jen for a long time and was so excited to have her as our wedding photographer. From our first meeting to the final minutes of our wedding she was amazing. She works really hard to make sure she gets everything you want while having SO much fun! She is so happy and fun to be around and it rubs off everyone else! We had so much fun with our engagement pictures, and even more fun with our wedding pictures. Although it was raining on our wedding day Jen was able to find the perfect places to take pictures and you would never know that it rained! I really cannot thank Jen enough for everything that she did for us! She got the pictures back to us so fast we were able to relive our wedding day immediately! I cannot thank Jen enough for everything that she did for us!

The perfect photographer for your perfect day
Jen is the ultimate professional with the sweetest personality to go along with her fierce determination to do an amazing job.
From the first conversation, it is clear that photography, and specifically wedding photography, is her passion. We had a small ceremony and reception (65 people), Jen was able to capture so many special moments with our guests, and as my mom said, you barely noticed she was there! Our photos are incredible, I can’t pick a favorite because they are all beautiful! I am so pleased that we chose Jen as our photographer and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again or recommend her to anyone for an amazing experience and amazing memories captured in beautiful photos.

We met Jen through one of my friends Jess, who said you would love Jen to shoot your wedding. Well Jess was absolutely right. We fell in love with Jen the second we met her. She was easy going and cared about our vision and what we wanted for our special day. We got married up at the Mount Washington Hotel on a Friday evening and the pictures she took were breathtaking. She was easy to contact if I was freaking out about the littlest things and reassure me that everything will be okay and it was! I would highly recommend Jen for anyone who is looking!!
