Jeanne did our engagement and wedding photos, which both turned out stunning. Neither of us are totally comfortable in front of a camera, but she made us feel totally at ease. She's absolutely as professional as they come, but also a blast to work with (and definitely put up with our shenanigans very well).

The thing I appreciate most about her is her ability to catch not just the big, posed moments, but the small, genuine ones as well. Just to illustrate, the first photo I've attached shows the big dramatic Wedding Kiss. The second photo is the two of us in a small private area after the ceremony, telling each other that we did it, we're married. The first one is gorgeous, but the second one captured a moment we are truly happy we get to hold onto.

Lots of laughs, good memories, and beautiful photos. We couldn't ask for more. Also, please sign my petition to have her canonized because it's a literal miracle that she made us look this good.

Jeanne was a delight. From the moment I meet her on my wedding day. She made me (I do not like my picture taken) feel so comfortable. The pictures are beautiful. She captured moments of us (bride and groom), that are special and stunning. She has an eye for color and capturing the moment. If it was friends or family. She got it all. She sent some preview pictures the next day. And she kept to her timeline. Would recommend her for any occasion.

Jeanne Tanner was the Best choice made for our wedding vendors. My husband and I did not have a traditional wedding since being the 2nd time for both of us. Our wedding party consisted of our 6 children prior. We did not want a lot of hoop-la, but a Very nice wonderful ceremony and reception for all to enjoy and to have it captured naturally as the day unfolded. Jeanne & Jeanne (too funny!) were there every moment of the day and night capturing all that happened, everyone, and all areas of the beautiful wedding at Maravilla Gardens. Jeanne T. was so exceptional and genuinely helped me plan and set up how we wanted our pics. She was in constant contact by email and phone, I felt as if she was a close family friend. Who else Better to have with you your entire wedding day/eve?!

Jeanne and her partner were absolutely amazing on our wedding day. Even though we got married over two years ago I still am in awe with all the photos she had taken! When looking for a photographer I wanted someone who would capture all the feelings we had felt that day in our photos not fake and posed. She knocked out of the park and I still have people approaching me for her information to do their weddings! You will not regret hiring her! She will definitely be used again in the future for our special events!

We found Jeanne by placing an ad on Craigslist seeking a wedding photographer. In the ad we painted a picture of what we were looking for, gave our budget and other requirements, and asked that interested photographers provide a link to some of their work. We received almost 200 responses!

We spent over a week reading every response, and looking at every portfolio, flagging our favorites. Jeanne quickly made the short list. We contacted her and a couple of others (including a National Geographic photographer who offer to shoot our wedding for 40% off --- $15,000!!!). We just had a good feeling about Jeanne, so we booked her.

One of our requests was that we did not want a whole bunch of posed pictures, and instead wanted mostly candid shots. Jeanne has a way of just blending in with the event without disrupting it. There are pictures where she must have been one foot away but I don't even remember seeing her.

Bottom line is that we LOVE our wedding photos. Everyone else does too. They're artistic and beautiful, and truly capture the spirit of the day. When I look at other people's wedding photos, even when they paid thousands more, they usually seem boring and flat to me. Jeanne was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end, and we cannot recommend her more highly. She also shot our friends' wedding, and they had the same experience.

Footnote: we've since also used Jeanne to do family photos, and she did a fabulous job on those as well!
