We don’t have enough good works to say about working with Jean for engagement and wedding photos! All of our pictures are incredible, we have no idea how we will choose which ones we want printed in our book. The day was captured so perfectly, I feel like I can relive it from looking through all of the pictures. She made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, and is just so fun to work with. You can tell how much she loves her job. We have gotten nothing but compliments from our friends and family. We will only go to Jean in the future with all of our photography needs and we can’t recommend her enough!

Jean was an amazing photographer! She had photographed a few of our friends wedding and we fell in love with her photography style. We wanted a lot of candid/lived in photos and she absolutely delivered! On the day of, she did an fantastic job of making everyone feel at ease and comfortable getting pictures done. Jean Smith was absolutely amazing!!! I cannot recommend her enough. She photographed my wedding in July 2022. The photos were beautiful and made me and my husband emotional relieving our day. Jean is so creative and really takes the work out of it for you. I gave her a very general shot list and was worried that I should have spent more time putting together ideas of what I liked. On wedding day, it became clear that my worries were unnecessary and Jean is a true professional. There was never a moment where she was unsure of what shot to get next. She directed us the entire time we had set aside for pictures and she got every shot and more than I could have ever wanted. My sister has already said that she will pick her wedding date around Jean's availability when the time comes for her to get married. I might be biased but the pictures were really the most beautiful wedding photos that I have ever seen. I am so happy Jean Smith was our photographer and highly recommend her to anyone considering!

Jean is amazing to work with! Not only does she have such a vision when working with couples but she makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Jean is AMAZING- both as a photographer and as a person. When we first reached out, she immediately made us feel comfortable and we knew she would be perfect as our wedding day photographer. She was informative and stayed in touch/ updated us on the process from the very beginning. She gave us feedback and suggestions on first look locations and timelines, which was SO helpful as we had no idea what we were doing! Her eye and artistic ability is unreal. We completely trusted her to capture our day and we were blown away with what she delivered. Our pictures are beyond perfect and captured the feelings and love that were present the entire day. Lastly- she was able to corral our 10 groomsmen and 10 bridesmaids throughout the entire day which is a HUGE task just in itself. We 10/10 recommend Jean and we can’t wait to use her as our photographer in the future.

Words cannot express how happy I am with the whole process and the end result. I have worked with Jean on several projects prior to the wedding years back, and had no doubt that I would want her as my wedding photographer even a decade later.

Before the wedding, she would go through the logistics, any questions/requests you may have, and basically everything you need to know before your big day.

On the day of, Jean showed up on time, was extremely easy to work with, and came with a huge smile on her face although the day was not going to be easy for her. She was literally on the ground trying to get the best shots possible. Jean made sure to capture the party in the best way possible with her unique artistic twist.

And post wedding, you would get a sneak peek in a week or so, and then the rest of the photos in about six weeks. Every time we received an email from Jean, I felt like it was Christmas all over again!

The bottom line is, you will not regret hiring Jean to capture the best day of your life, I certainly am happy with my photos!

When my now husband and I first got engaged the one thing we knew for certain was that Jean Smith had to photograph our special day. It started out with an incredible session in Detroit for our engagement photos-I knew after that two hour session she was the right choice! (There was never a doubt in my mind). Rob and I ended up having the wedding of our dreams and then some-albeit short 275 people. Many thanks to Jean for being a huge part of that. Our photos are simply perfect. She has an eye like I’ve never seen from other photographers. We can not say enough good things about her.
