I've known Janis from a professional standpoint for about 10 years, she has always been amazing to work with. When my cousin got married, I suggested they hire Janis for their reception photography. She did an AMAZING job, the photos really captured the fun and the beauty of the event. Their couple photos are SO PRETTY! They look so perfect. Also, she went above and beyond making sure she got everyone's photos the entire night, and she delivered the best gallery ever! Everyone who has seen it has been so impressed. GREAT ! Janis was the photographer in my wedding in November 2017. She did such an incredible job, we are STILL talking about what a blessing it was to have her there. We had a pre-meeting because I hadn't met her before, and Janis was so professional and helpful, I knew we would get along great. She gave some meaningful advice to think about before the wedding, and made a checklist of must-have photos for the big day. That was incredibly helpful the day of! For example, she looked up sunset times before we met to discuss. It helped me realize if we waited until the ceremony to see each other, everything would be dark! We decided to have a "first look" instead, which was also helpful to not rush after the ceremony. I didn't have a coordinator other than what came with the venue, and while I was overwhelmed, Janis was extremely professional, courteous, and super helpful in getting people together to get group photos we had discussed. She had such a positive and upbeat attitude, and made sure everything was just how I wanted! She helped the day go smoothly, I appreciated her attention to detail, and the best part is the photos turned out EXCEPTIONAL. The lighting was perfect, photos weren't blurry, and she captured every wonderful aspect of my special day. She even captured some moments I missed in the moment. And she was fast!! If I could do it again I would absolutely go with Janis and I hope to work with her more in life's exciting events!

Janis Foley Photography is AMAZING!!!! We got the most beautiful pictures of our beach wedding- even more gorgeous than I could have imagined. She was referred to us by our officiant- Reverand Tuttle with Elope to San Diego. Although we live out of the state, the wedding came together perfectly. She captured so many special moments- in shots that you can honestly just FEEL the love and connection. She was very lighthearted and personable, and very talented in her photography. I absolutely highly recommend.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am that we found Janis. Not only did our photos come out AMAZING (and geez- she took soooo many of them!) but her positive enthusiasm really added to both our wedding and our engagement. It was really important to me to have vendors that gave us good juju throughout the day (because apparently I'm a hippy :P) and Janis went above and beyond. And man... she caught moments I wouldn't have ever thought to have asked for, including a surprise gift from my father to his son in law that nobody saw coming.

We planned our wedding out of state and she was very helpful with recommendations and quick to respond to any questions. I can honestly say that our wedding would not have been the same if it weren't for Janis. Good photography is a huge deal to both my husband and I. It's all about capturing those special moments in life and being able to look back on wonderful memories.

Originally, we had another photographer do our engagement photos and when we go the edits back, I was devastated. I was not happy at all and really didn't know what to do. Considering how unhappy I was with the engagement photos, I just didn't want the same person to do the actual wedding shots. It was so bad that my then fiance and I didn't even seem like we were a couple - there was no personality in any of the shots!

Luckily, we found Janis!! Janis is AMAZING! She made us feel so comfortable during the engagement shoot. I loved how she would tell us how to pose and how she paid great attention to detail. She was able to capture who we are as a couple and our love really showed through the photos. Her photos are artistic and she's all about getting those perfect shots, while putting the client first. I am so happy that we were able to have her as our photographer.

I am so sad that it's all over, but I know that we will definitely be requesting her again to capture other milestones and memories. There is no one else that I trust to do what she does.
