My wife and I celebrated our wedding on September 19, 2026, at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, and we want to take a moment to recognize our incredible photographer, Jaci Berkopec.

From the very moment we began this journey with her, she made us feel like queens. The way she captured our wedding day is exactly what we dreamed of. Not only did she capture all of our colors, details, and outdoor lighting perfectly, but she consistently made every person in front of her camera feel comfortable and completely at ease.

Jaci has such a warm, genuine, and welcoming personality that it never felt like we were being “posed” or photographed. She has a way of making you laugh, relax, and forget that a camera is even there. Every vulnerable moment in front of the camera felt lighter because of her. She made us feel beautiful, confident, and most importantly, like ourselves.

What meant so much to us was how naturally she connected with not only us, but our family and friends as well. She was professional while still feeling like someone we had known forever. She brought such a calming and positive energy to the entire day, and we truly believe that energy is reflected in every photo.

Looking through our gallery feels like reliving our wedding day all over again. She captured not just what our wedding looked like, but what it felt like — the joy, the love, the laughter, and all of the little moments we may have otherwise missed.

We are beyond grateful that Jaci was the person behind the camera for such an important day in our lives. We could not recommend her more highly and feel so lucky that we found her!

Hire Jaci NOW!!! Jaci was always our top photographer choice. We viewed a few photographers recommended by our venue (Seminary Hill Callicoon, NY), but her previous galleries of our venue blew us away. She captures every emotion and knows exactly how to capture the scenery no matter the weather conditions. Our wedding was September 26, 2026, and an unexpected September Nor'easter hit the day of our wedding. Our hair and makeup also ran behind. Jaci stepped up working through our timeline to adjust our family photo locations to inside the Mountain House, moving furniture and people quickly to get the most beautiful shots. It was important for me to complete all the formal photos prior to the ceremony and she made that happen! At the venue we had gaps in the rain, and she captured the best fog photos in history. She stayed calm and directed us how to get the best photos. I was very nervous throughout the day, but she made me so comfortable. She loved our dog Theo, and even had extra dog treats to help him walk down the aisle when we had to move inside and he was nervous with the music. There is no one better in the industry. My only regret is also not hiring her for our Welcome Dinner the night before the wedding!

Choosing our wedding photographer was one of the most important decisions we made for our day, and we truly couldn’t have been happier with our choice. She captured every moment so beautifully and absolutely nailed the vision we had in mind.
Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is also such a joy to be around. She brought a calm, fun, and positive energy that made the entire experience even better. We felt comfortable, confident, and knew we were in the best hands.

I’m SO glad that we hired Jaci to be our photographer for our wedding. I felt that she was 100% aligned with what I wanted for the photography: minimal posing/forced moments and lots of candids of all the love and fun times. We’ve only received our preview photos so far (we just got married a couple weeks ago) but I can already tell she killed it. I’m already so happy with what we have and have been looking at them nonstop!

On the day Jaci was a delight to work with and so much fun. Her and her assistant were so friendly and nice, really putting me at ease while I was freaking out. I am NOT comfortable in front of a camera but somehow in the pictures I look totally natural. They were also very much on the dance floor during the reception getting in the mix and getting those incredible pictures of people partying and celebrating that we hoped for. I remember a couple times spotting them out of the corner of my eye and just thinking “I know these are gonna be good” and they very much are! At brunch the morning after many people were remarking about how much fun the photographers were. Just good vibes and great photos all around, I would definitely recommend working with Jaci!

We 1000000% recommend Jaci for any of your photography needs! She took our engagement photos and shot our wedding last weekend and she is an absolute DREAM to work with. Her confidence, poise, warmth and positivity helped us stay calm and have fun during the busy wedding day. We heard so many compliments from our loved ones who were also so impressed with her attitude and demeanor. And this is all before we saw the photos: her work is UNREAL. We are truly blown away- they are stunning, and capture the JOY and FUN and LOVE we experienced. I get emotional looking at just the sneak peek gallery because it so beautifully memorializes what it felt like on that day, and now we can share it with our grandparents who couldn't make the journey, and ourselves for decades to come. We found Jaci through friends of ours that used her for their wedding photography after loving the photos that they posted and we could not be happier with using her ourselves! We had the chance to do our engagement shoot with Jaci ahead of our wedding and loved working with her right away - she made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun which was a great way to get to know her ahead of our actual wedding day! On our wedding, Jaci helped plan our schedule and was an absolute pleasure to work with for both myself and my husband, but also for our family and wedding party who all loved working with her and her assistant, Dana. Jaci made sure to get all of the shots we wanted and utilized our entire venue (Red Maple Vineyard) to its fullest. Everyone loved her and she did an amazing job being present without being intrusive in any way and most importantly, she got us an incredible sneak peek less than 24-hours after our wedding and we could not be any happier with the photos. She completely nailed our personality and the magic of our special day and we cannot wait to see the rest of the album when it's ready - we will treasure our pictures from Jaci forever.

Jaci was INCREDIBLE. We found her on Zola and fell in love with her work. From start to finish she was easy to communicate with, understood our vision, and was very personable. We didn't want any pictures that were too posed or awkward, which I knew was going to be hard because I am so awkward in photos, but somehow we look amazing in every single one. We are going to treasure these photos forever and I am so thankful that we chose Jaci to be our photographer.

We can't give Jaci enough accolades for the photography she did for our engagement and wedding. We LOVE her style which captures moments. We received lots of compliments on our wedding photos that she really captured the feel and mood of the room. She was also super professional and easy to work with. I especially appreciated that she was tracking the particular posed pictures I had requested and made sure we had those done. Also, many of our guests commented that Jaci was everywhere taking pictures and that she was laughing and smiling enjoying the day with us.

And an added bonus was that Jaci was a wealth of knowledge with respect to wedding details. And when I discovered the 80 year old necklace I was planning to wear was broken as I was getting dressed Jaci jumped in to fix it with floral wire. She's absolutely the best!!

The wedding was a blur for us and Jaci's pictures truly encapsulated the day and let us relive it! Our one regret is that we didn't also hire her to capture memories of our Friday night event too!

Jaci was so great! She was responsive and easy to work with. She really got what we wanted in terms of vibe and was very chill overall. We thought her prices were very reasonable and liked her flexibility in terms of package. And best of all the photos turned out great! We would recommend her to anyone.

I don't even know where to begin... We feel beyond fortunate to have had the chance to work with Jaci for our elopement photos. She was so patient with us (even though we were a hot mess on our wedding day), so professional, but also so down to earth and a truly wonderful human being. She went above and beyond, helped the day go off without a hitch, and provided the most wonderful experience. We couldn't say enough good things - there aren't enough compliments in the universe!
