J.P. was great. Every minute of the wedding ran smoothly. He kept everyone dancing all night, including my wife's Filipino side and even my white side, haha.

He was great to work with before the wedding too. He answered all of my questions (and I had a lot) and always responded quickly. He also has every song out there and edited them for us to make sure they looped or were timed with our ceremony.

You will not be disappointed. He didn't once request that I write a review. I am doing it now, 1 month later, because I feel strongly about it.

Honestly, JP was just such a pleasure to work with all the way around. I am pretty Type-A and emailed him about a million times and he was SO PATIENT I can't even begin to tell you. He listened to what I wanted and just made it happen in an even better way than I could have imagined. Not only that, but he just freakin rocked the party! It was so important to me and Michael that people have an amazing time on the dance floor and they DID. He was so great at reading the crowd and so many people complimented us on the music that night. He was so amazing at getting "us" that people actually asked us if we gave him a song-by-song playlist! Ha! No, that was all him!! His response time was great (have I mentioned I am Type-A?) which was huge for me as well. He was such a crucial part of an amazing night I will never forget!! There was so much dancing FUN to be had! Also, he was just a pleasure - there on time, super nice to everyone, just really great all around. I can't say enough fabulous things about him!

You know those weddings where no one is really dancing and people are drifting on and off the dance floor? That will NOT be your wedding if JP is your DJ!

I don't know how he does it, but JP was able to get everyone up and dancing at my wedding. And, he didn't need to do any cheesy "DJ" songs or wedding songs to do it.

I gave JP very little direction before our wedding. I only gave him a few "NO" songs and told him we liked country music, pop and some 80s. With that little instruction, JP was able to come up with the perfect mix!

JP provided the music for my ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. He picked the perfect music to be played in each setting. He also served as MC during the reception.

If you hire JP as your DJ, you're reception will have great energy, people will be dancing and you'll be so happy with your choice!

He basically made my tasteful/romantic/classic wedding come to life with his music. I originally found him on instagram, through my wedding venue. I just saw that he had his crowd movin and groovin and that was what my husband and I had wanted for our big night. Hubbs and I grew up listening to 90's hip hop and R&B and we really wanted our love of music to come through without getting raunchy or leaving anyone out and somehow JP pulled it off.

He is a tasteful MC and his timing is absolutely impeccable. I always cringe at weddings when the DJ is late or off timing. He was also very easy to work with and has a great energy. Everyone just needs to hire this guy if you want to have a complete wedding. Seriously, we had people slow dancing, line dancing, BREAK DANCING, and two guys even started crumping at our wedding. I HAVE NEVER SEEN LIVE CRUMPING BEFORE. But JP somehow brought it out of us.

We are fans all the way. Thank you so much, JP. Our music loving lives are forever touched.

J.P. did an absolutely amazing job as a DJ and emcee during our wedding reception. His choice of music kept our guests dancing all night-they even begged for an encore at the end of the evening! He also did an excellent job letting everyone know about key moments during the reception-cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss, first dances, etc. One of my pet peeves is going to a wedding and not knowing what is going on-so I loved that he got everyone involved. At one point-we even had all 150 guests doing the locomotion around the dance floor. I will never forget how special our night was!

I found JP McLeod on Yelp and decided to use him as our wedding DJ in July 2012. I knew JP would do a great job, but he went above and beyond my expectations and was seriously the best wedding DJ I have seen (and I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding!). From start to finish, JP entertained our wedding guests and kept the reception moving on schedule. He played fun music and at one point had ALL of our guests up on their feet, singing along to "Sweet Caroline" - he helped us create memories I know I will remember forever. JP was helpful with our music selection, very professional and reliable, and is a great/fun guy. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a DJ for their event.

Planning a wedding can be very stressful, but as soon as we met J.P. we felt like we had been friends forever and knew he was going to be perfect for the job!

J.P. went out of his way to make things work as smoothly as possible - he was so helpful leading up to the wedding, helping us with rentals since he knew we were super busy with friends and family in town. It was also a challenge mixing mine and my husbands music preferences (country & house...) but we both ended up having our favorite songs played and everyone loved it! On top of being an amazing DJ he went out of his way and helped out during the dinner itself when the caterer messed up and didn't put wineglasses on the tables!

Since we had many guests from different countries and that never even met before, it was important to us that it was a casual and relaxed environment where the wedding itself was more of a fun party. And it sure was! The dance floor was full pretty much the whole time (until people started jumping in the pool...) and many of our guests told us it was the best and most fun wedding they had ever been to. Of course the party didn't stop there, J.P. helped us out with equipment to keep the after party going until the wee hours. I am smiling just thinking about how much fun we had!
J.P. really made a huge difference for us and if we ever throw another party, we will definitely hire him again!

Finding the right DJ for our wedding was one of the most daunting tasks we faced when planning our the big day. Although all elements of a wedding are important, the DJ is nearly completely responsible for the "fun" part of the night. When we met DJP, though, we knew he was the man for the job.

JP is a rock star! He helped us negotiate with our vendors, went far beyond his scope as a DJ to provide additional services, and, most importantly, provided the best entertainment we could have asked for. Even though we are huge music fans, we gave him little direction for music choices, since we were caught-up in so many other details. But JP nailed it! Our photographer actually had to ask us to stop dancing to his music during cocktail hour so she could get some still shots of the wedding party. JP also took our subtle queues during our first dance and the father-daughter dance, so we weren't stranded on the dance floor. These weren't things we talked about before the wedding, but JP was such a professional, he was able to pick up on them.

We've heard nothing but praise for JP's work from our guets (especially our end of the night pool party), and we would recommend him hands-down (almost insistently) to anyone searching for a DJ.

JP was probably one of the best wedding vendor decisions we made. He was professional, responsive, flexible, and quite cool. :) Our friends are still raving about how great of a party our reception was. I cannot say enough that if you want your friens and family on the dance floor all night, you should definitely hire JP.
