My husband and I were initially very on the fence about hiring a videographer. It is of course an added expense and we were also worried about having "another thing" to add to the chaos of the day. My husband inparicular wasn't convinced it was possible to capture the day in a way that didn't feel scripted or forced. I was so worried about regretting the decision not to have the day captured so we ultimately decided to book Audrey as she came as a recommendation from our photographer and we both were very impressed when looking through past videos she had created. On the day of our wedding, I first noticed how well she partnered with our photographer. I've been to weddings where it feels like the photographer and videographer are almost battling for the bride and groom's time and getting "their shot". The second thing I noticed the day-of was how calm and professional Audrey is. Her confidence in her craft is obvious, not at all in a boastful way but a "don't you worry, I got this, you just live in the moment and enjoy your day" kind of way. Now for the final package... ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY! We could not believe how well she captured so many little things in a 7 minute video. Some of the feedback we received on the video were things like "I felt like I was there!", "That is the best wedding video I have ever soon!", "She so accurately captured the day!". The last one really resonated with me because we couldn't have been more wrong with our worry of the day or video feeling "scripted". When you book a good videographer, they don't need to "create moments". They capture them as they are and then use their creative talents to lay them out in a fluid way in the video they create. Watching our video allowed us to relive our wedding day and experience emotions we weren't able to experience the day of the wedding due to all of the stress and excitement. Even though I was listening during the ceremony, there was so much going on that I wasn't able to fully take in my husband's vows that he wrote for me. Thankfully, all of that was captured on our video and wow... how happy I am that Audrey captured that moment.
