We had the absolute joy of working with Amy from Intertwined Events for our wedding at Santa Ana Country Club. We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her incredible team, Lynsey and Mia, who were there for us on our big day. From start to finish, these ladies were beyond kind, calm, professional, incredibly detail-oriented, and full of heart! On the day of the wedding, it rained all morning, and while I was internally panicking, Amy stayed cool, collected, and completely in control. Miraculously, by the time our ceremony began, the skies cleared, the sun came out, and it turned into the most beautiful and magical day. Every single detail came together perfectly, and I know that wouldn’t have happened without the amazing support of Amy and her team. They handled every behind-the-scenes moment with such grace and made sure we could relax and truly soak in every part of the day. With my family on the East Coast and planning a wedding on the West Coast I knew I needed a phenomenal wedding planner who would help guide me every step of the way. Amy and the Intertwined team helped to make my dream wedding come to life and were such a pleasure to work with. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and each event flowed seamlessly into the next without a single hiccup. Our one wish was to be as present as possible on our special day so we could soak in all the amazing moments and Amy made this possible. Booking Amy as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made and we can't recommend this stellar team enough! We LOVE you guys!!!

I've been so excited to write this review because Amy & her team went above and beyond to make our wedding week everything we could've wished for and more. The process of finding your perfect wedding planner can be grueling, however we knew from the minute we hopped off of our first call with Amy that she would be the one to bring our vision to life.

Our Western-Sikh wedding involved a lot of moving parts, including five events across four days. I had ideas and inspiration of what I wanted for each, and Amy was able to bring to the table the perfect vendors to tackle each one.

Some of the best attributes of Amy were really her ability to come up with creative ways to help us stay close to budget, brainstorm with us alternatives when certain elements weren't going to be feasible (for ex, being creative about the venue, looking internally to her team and bringing on her colleague Marissa who had a design/floral background, and much more), and she always came to us with solutions for any issue.

Marissa from her team also very quickly jumped on the train with us to help with a few of our events, which was incredibly valuable because she wasn't just amazing at interpreting our vision, but she also helped us find ways to drive cost efficiencies when we started to feel we were stretching a bit.

The planning process was so much fun with Amy, and her massive binder for "Pritni & Alec" showed how much attention she paid to our details and goals for each event.

The most fun, however, was being on the ground with her that week. I felt calm and supported on our wedding day knowing Amy and her entire team that day had everything under control. Even with some unexpected rain in the forecast, Amy was able to guide and counsel us toward a BEAUTIFUL tent setup for our reception (just three days beforehand!!), which honestly made the entire space look even better than I could have imagined.

At Intertwined, they say on their website "get ready to meet your new best friend" and it is so true. Amy felt more like family by the end of our wedding. Our guests knew her by name and were taking photos with her, which I never see at weddings and goes to show just how much her clients mean to her. We were sad to say goodbye but she is absolutely someone who we will keep in touch with for the rest of our lives.

Katie at Intertwined Events made sure from day one that as mother of bride she wanted me to really enjoy this process. Planning a wedding in Laguna Beach at the Montage from Atlanta was daunting to me. Truth is it would have been impossible without her, and I did enjoy it! Katie made my daughter feel that bringing her vision for her day to life, was what was most important. And that’s exactly what she did. Martina was also a great help! I believe any planner at Intertwined Events would be amazing.
What you get with Katie is someone who loves what she does, loves her business, and her partners. This is a passion for her and “that’s fine” or “it’s ok”, just won’t fly. Our daughters wedding was perfect, and unique. All of this, and she happens to be an amazing human being and role model for our daughter and all women! So yes, we highly recommend Katie and Intertwined Events!

I could not recommend the Intertwined team more! Amy was an absolute boss. From the moment we met her, Amy was supportive, honest, and collaborative. She helped us pick our venue, all our vendors, and provided such valuable knowledge on traditions, etiquette, and more. She brought our wedding vision to life and ensured it was the BEST party that felt truly "us." We are so grateful for her and the Intertwined team that help plan and throw the wedding of our dreams. The most superb wedding team! We had the honor of having Katie, Amy and Martina as our planners for our destination wedding in Italy. Even though we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, they were there with us every step of the way. I can't imagine having to plan a wedding in Italy with the language barrier and with the different time zones. They made it so easy for us. The day of our wedding was ridiculously windy (the windiest day in Ravello (Amalfi Coast) that they had seen in the past ten years! And to top it all off, it was brutally cold when we expected it to warm. Despite these roadblocks, Amy and Martina were there that morning at the venue to come up with a plan B and set everything up perfectly. Although our ceremony wasn't where we had imagined it would be (overlooking the Amalfi Coast) they created a beautiful set up that still awed our guests. I was beyond stressed out and they were so reassuring and wonderful. They even took care of my parents while my future husband and I were getting ready in our separate rooms. There were so many little details I forgot to ask them but it turned out that they had remembered and picked exactly what I would have wanted anyways. Amy (the sweet and kind soul that she is) even gave me her jacket to keep me warm while I was shivering in my wedding dress waiting for my turn to walk down the aisle. Our reception looked like an absolute fairytale and I have the pictures to prove it! Martina was with us every minute of the day and even helped me put my shoes on. These wedding planning angels are literally the best. It was super helpful that Martina knew fluent Italian since she grew up in the area. I would not look anywhere else if you are trying to find quality planners who will give you the most luxurious wedding you could ever dream of. Don't just take my word for it, but you can be the judge by looking at all my dreamy wedding photos. All hail Intertwined Events! :)

Amy made our wedding feel effortless all day and was so supportive during the replanning process (2020 rescheduling). Amy made sure all our vendors knew where they needed to be and answered their questions. She made sure that everyone was good throughout the wedding weekend and we really loved working with her. Amy made us feel comfortable and we are so thankful for everything she did for us. We still can't get over how perfect our wedding day was!
