To ensure we had the wedding ceremony of our dreams, Rabbi Barry met with us several times before the wedding. Rabbi Barry was a joy to work with and brought our vision to fruition, which was to have a loving ceremony that was inclusive to all of our guests. We knew within the first couple of minutes of speaking with Rabbi Tuchman that he was our guy. He has this magnetic energy to him that draws you in and makes you love him! He is positive, has a great personality, and is nonjudgmental. It is so obvious that being a rabbi is his calling in life. I am Catholic and my husband is Jewish. Rabbi worked with us to perfectly blend the religions during the ceremony, he was flexible with our requests and he absolutely NAILED the wedding sermon. It wasn't too long and it wasn't too short. He focused on faith, gratitude, our loved ones, the purpose of life and our guests LOVED him. Even the most religious Catholics kept raving about him after the ceremony. Some of our Jewish guests liked him so much that they wanted to see if he delivers sermons at a specific synagogue so them can join to watch him. His words were beautiful during the ceremony, it makes me teary just thinking about it. We went with his custom Ketubah service and the results were amazing. He took inspiration from a lot of meaningful things in our lives and combined them with traditional Jewish ketubah text. We now have a personalized symbolic document and art piece that we will cherish forever.

We had a themed wedding -"Wild West Disco" - and Barry needed no convincing to dress the part. He brought so much joy and levity to our wedding day.

I had the pleasure of working with Rabbi Barry for one of my couples at the Montecito Club. He and his wife are the sweetest humans. They designed and created a custom Ketubah for the couple and organized such a beautiful ceremony that included the family's request for Catholic Priest to be present. My husband (I wrote fiancé and then corrected myself!) and I are both secular, spiritual Jews. We wanted our wedding officiated by a Rabbi, but the question was, how do we find one that resonated with our beliefs & values? I found Rabbi Barry from a Google search, and arranged a time to chat. We connected with his interpretation of Judaism and love, and noticed immediately how well-spoken he was. Rabbi Barry is a professional public speaker - his services left hardly a dry eye at the venue (of course, my & my husbands vows didn’t hurt 😉).
