This required a lot of back and forth with different vendors and moving parts. She was on top of all the little details every step of the way. She kept each of us calm on the wedding day. The second I arrived and met her the morning of I felt no stress. She had so many great pointers (things we never even thought about) in the rehearsal that were super helpful. Her and her team made us feel so special through the night, asking us if we needed water, or wine or anything, things we never expected but were such nice touches. One of the most amazing parts was seeing how she took our vision and made it a reality in terms of decor. We had a unique style - more bright colors than traditional neutrals and I was worried it was going to look tacky but when we came up and saw her pull it all together with our flowers, decor, candles, and rentals I was truly amazed. It was so beautiful. She knew exactly what to do! Finally, personality is so important in a planner. I knew I liked Chelsea as a person from our first call and because of that I'd trust her on the wedding day. Illumination Events was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, they took such great care of us and truly helped take so much off our plate. They paid attention to every detail, big and small, and made sure we felt supported throughout the entire process.

The first time we met Chelsea, she got my name right. That moment alone told us she was someone special, and we knew we had chosen the right person.

Chelsea is incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and prepared for anything. If you are a Type A couple, she is exactly who you want in your corner because she does not miss a thing! Her timeline was absolutely incredible, detailed from the beginning of the day all the way through the final moments of packing up. Everything had a place and a plan.

On our wedding day, Chelsea and the Illumination Events team made everything run so smoothly. We had over 165 guests, and she handled everything with such professionalism and ease. She made sure the wedding party was where they needed to be, kept everything on schedule, and even when things naturally shifted throughout the day, she adapted quickly without us having to worry about anything.

The best part? If anything went wrong behind the scenes, we never knew, because our day felt absolutely perfect. We were able to truly enjoy our wedding because Chelsea was taking care of everything.

Chelsea Moring and her team at Illumination Events LLC (IE) truly made all of my wedding dreams come to life. As someone with a very Type A personality and a very specific vision for our wedding day, I cannot overstate how incredible Chelsea was throughout the entire process. She not only understood my vision, but somehow made everything even more beautiful and seamless than I could have imagined.

We booked IE’s most basic package, and they still went completely above and beyond in every possible way — I can only imagine how amazing their top-tier packages must be. From our initial meetings months before the wedding, to our 30-day planning meeting, to constant communication the week of the wedding, Chelsea was always there. She was responsive, organized, calming, and genuinely one of the kindest people I have ever worked with.

We had over 150 guests at our wedding, and Chelsea brought three assistants along with their social media content creator. Every single member of the team was professional, helpful, attentive, and wonderful to work with. They coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors and handled every detail behind the scenes so flawlessly that I was able to be fully present and genuinely stress-free on my wedding day.

She joined us three months out, and helped manage timelines, communication with all our vendors, and making sure that everything ran smoothly the day of our wedding. She was the BEST value for her fees, and I would hire her ten times again. She lessened my anxiety, was receptive to our input and feedback, and managed our large wedding party and families with grace. She clearly has years of experience and has run hundreds of events, but she makes you feel like your wedding day is the most important day yet. I love this team!!!

Five stars don’t even come close to doing Chelsea and her team justice. They’re a 10 out of 5 stars kind of crew. My biggest regret is not booking Chelsea for the entire wedding planning process. She is insanely organized, on top of every detail, and seemingly everywhere at once. Beyond that, she’s hilarious, down to earth, and refreshingly honest when it comes to sharing her opinions and guiding us through decisions.

She handled tough conversations on our behalf with total grace, never made anything awkward, and was such a joy to work with. I kept telling my wedding party how excited I was for them to meet her because I knew they’d love her as much as we did. She brings such a vibe!! Throughout the entire process, she made us feel supported - no question was ever too much, no last minute change was ever a problem, and we always felt like we were in the best hands.

Our families kept commenting on how amazing she was too!!
