My friend introduced me to Hushed Commotion because she had worn their jewelry for her wedding.

I drooled over their inventory, before settling on earrings and matching barrette. I didn't end up wearing the barrette on the big day - only because my something borrowed became my aunt's hair clips - but I did wear the earrings. They were PERFECT. I love these earrings so much that I wear them on most work days - even though I work from home and am only chatting with colleagues virtually.

I highly recommend Hushed Commotion. Just want to note here that they are also very responsive - I reached out before purchasing to make sure I was buying two products that complimented one another, and I heard back within an hour.

It was difficult finding the perfect earring that was appropriate for a wedding but wasn’t traditional, until I came across Hushed Commotion. It took me so long to finally purchase my dream earrings because I just couldn’t decide which ones I wanted since I wanted them all! I purchased both the Helen earrings and the Magdalena earrings. I ultimately decided to wear the Helen earrings on my wedding and it perfectly completed the look I was going for. I know I will wear these earrings time and time again. And I know it won’t be my last purchase from HC.

I requested a custom set of earrings and a belt with a slight custom request. They were super helpful and accomodating the whole way through. The belt and earrings are absolutely stunning, better than I was expecting and I cannot wait to wear them on my wedding day! They even came in a gorgeous box. Highly recommend!

Excellent service, very responsive, and fantastic quality pieces. I was late to the game ordering my bridal accessories and spent so many hours trying to find something I wanted. Everything I saw from other vendors looked the same and just wasn't "me." Finally found Hushed Commotion, and lucky that I did! I loved every single piece I saw and ordered several hair pieces and cuffs to try. The estimated delivery date was too late for my wedding date so I emailed Thea in a panic to see if she could ship my pieces earlier - she responded immediately that she had already adjusted the ship date when she saw my wedding date in the order details, and not to worry. The pieces arrived shortly thereafter in plenty of time. The pieces arrived in perfect condition and exceeded my expectations in look and quality.

I haven't even placed my order yet (I'm working on a custom piece) but I honestly couldn't wait to write this review! The customer service is literally above and beyond in my opinion and that is just what I needed picking out my wedding day jewelry! I've been working directly with Thea and I honestly can't thank her enough for all of the back and forth she has been through with me. Quick responses, friendly dialogue making me feel unique and special!!!! I will definitely come back for future orders! Could not say enough amazing things!

Working with Thea and her team was so easy and the product was a bespoke veil for an excellent price. I had a cathedral length veil (slightly longer so it passed the hem of my dress) with a blusher and with satin cording. Thea helped me figure out so much of this by sitting down with me and just sketching! She is talented, excellent value for the product, and just a cool person in general. HIGHLY recommend working with Thea rather than buying a veil in a bridal shop. You get EXACTLY what you want for less than the cost in shop (in my experience).

After spending weeks (or possibly months!) searching for the perfect wedding hair accessory, I found Hushed Commotion through Instagram. Very quickly, I finally found a huge range of the kinds of pieces I had been looking for. Beautifully and striking, but not overly girly or glitzy or sparkly. I found a lovely, bold geometric design with pearls to match my engagement—exactly what I hadn't been able to find elsewhere; most designs with pearls are a little too soft for my taste—and promptly placed an order to have it plated in rose gold to match my ring. Then disaster struck. Because I had struggled to settle on what I wanted, I had placed my order just 1 month before my wedding. Less than two weeks before the day, Thea discovered that my order had been stolen from her studio stoop in Brooklyn. With no time to spare, she was able to find a replacement piece--identical but in yellow gold rather than rose. In the end, it was totally perfect (who needs matching metals anyway?) and I can't thank her enough for responding so quickly in a crisis!

I love Thea’s work! I wore the Darcy as a headpiece for my wedding - it was a little roaring 20s while being more contemporary and bright. I got compliments on it all night! Thea is lovely and wonderful to work with. She also made earrings to compliment the headpiece and earrings for my bridesmaids.

Thea is AMAZING. I fell in love with her Paloma belt and was determined to wear it at our wedding-- even before I had found my dress! Finally, I found the perfect dress to complement it and asked her if she might make custom earrings to match. She was quick to draw up two mock styles and was open to my suggestions on which bead/jewels I'd love in each place! They were just perfect. I received so many compliments and will cherish these unique pieces for many years. Thank you, Thea!!!

Thea is INCREDIBLE! I was struggling to find a birdcage veil that was classic without being over the top cutesy. She totally knew what I wanted and worked with me to customize one of her designs to my specifications. Everyone was complimenting me on my veil the entire night. She's amazing!
