A seasoned 9-piece ensemble boasting 5 vocalists, Hot Mess has performed at venues all over the world. In and around Boston we have had the pleasure of bringing the party to some amazing locations including The Fairmont Copley Plaza, The House of Blues, The Boston Public Library, The New England Aquarium, and so many more (seriously, you name it and we've had a vendor meal there)!

We love hot mess!!!!!

Choosing hot mess was one of our best wedding decisions!!!! Jason and the team were beyond easy to work with. After the first time talking to Jason we completely trusted him and knew we were in amazing hands. The energy and love they brought to our wedding night was unmatched- thank you for being a huge part of our favorite day!!!!!

Choosing Hot Mess was the absolute best choice we made for our wedding

My husband and I chose Hot Mess based on their online samples, and knowing that our venue recommended them highly, but we had not seen them perform prior to our wedding day. We knew that they’d be great, but we were completely blown away by their talent and incredible energy — they truly exceeded all of our expectations.

From the ceremony music, to the encore, they performed perfectly. It’s been almost a month since our wedding, and our guests have not stopped telling us that they’ve never seen a wedding band play at the level Hot Mess does, and that it was the most fun they’ve had on the dance floor!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Gail and Jason — their kindness and can-do attitude made us feel understood and so taken care of. It truly was the best investment we made for our day, and we cannot recommend the band enough!!

Simply the Best !

HOT Mess was absolutely amazing at our wedding! Every band member is incredibly talented, and they kept the dance floor packed all night long. Jason truly knows how to get the party started and brought so much energy to the celebration.
Our guests are still talking about how great the band was. If you’re looking for a fun, talented, and professional wedding band, we highly recommend HOT Mess!

A Letter to Hot Mess…

LAST NIGHT WAS EPICCCC!!!! Thank you for making all my dreams come true!!! Saying we had the best time ever is an understatement. Thank you for making our cocktail hour and dances so special and thank you for the most electric dance floor of all time. Until we see you next!!!! (Because after last night I think you are going to be the band at legit all of my friends’ weddings.)

If I have one piece of advice for anyone planning a wedding or an event it’s HIRE HOT MESS!!!

Plan your ENTIRE wedding around booking HOT MESS!!!

It’s May 5th and we got married May 2, and we couldn’t wait another second to write this because Hot Mess absolutely crushed it.

Truly, book them first and plan your entire wedding around their availability. I mean that. If you have to push your date, do it. A longer engagement is 1000% worth it if it means having Hot Mess on your big day.

They were beyond anything we could have imagined. The energy, the talent, the way they read the room, it was unreal. Our dance floor was completely packed all night.

I’m honestly still in shock at how good they were. They didn’t just play music, they made the night. If you’re even considering them, stop thinking and just book them. You will not regret it. And if you don’t believe me, hopefully these photos speak for themselves :)

Best Band Around!

Jason and his band really brought the energy to our wedding. They provided a musician for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and MC'd / played the night away. They were flexible and accompanied a family member during a song for the ceremony, they satisfied our Swiftie requirements, and kept the energy going at the wedding all night. All of our guests commented that Hot Mess was one of the best wedding bands they've ever seen. Thank you J and Hot Mess. You truly made our night special!

The easiest choice for a wedding or party

Hot Mess was by far the most complimented part of our wedding and for good reason. You could have a wedding with no food in a parking lot and it would still be the best time with this crew playing the tunes. They kept our dance floor full for the entire wedding, played the right songs and nailed all of the introductions. We seriously could not recommend them more!

Epic night

We cannot say enough amazing things about Hot Mess, they absolutely blew everyone’s minds! From the first song to the last, the dance floor was packed and the energy never dipped for a second. The vocals were unbelievable, the musicians were insanely talented, and the entire band put on a show that truly felt like a concert with all of our favorite songs. Jason (who also MC'd the night) is so incredibly kind, charismatic, and was a dream to work with. He took the time to understand our vibe and favorite songs and then curated the perfect set lists for us. They even learned two new songs just for our wedding and did an outfit change- this was such a fun surprise for our guests! Our wedding would not have been the same without Hot Mess. Our guests are still raving about them. If you want a packed dance floor, unforgettable energy, and an epic night, BOOK HOT MESS!

Hot Mess is THE Wedding Band!!

Hot Mess is absolutely and positively the most electric band that you could find. Jason and his team know exactly how to bring the party and from the moment they stepped on stage at our October 2025 wedding, our guests went feral. Even months later, our friends and family are still raving that we had the best wedding band that they have ever heard. Most of our guests didn’t leave the dance floor once all night!!

In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Jason and his team were so easy to work with, helping us to curate the perfect sound to match the vibe we were looking for. My husband and I had this dream for a customized first dance song, and Hot Mess blew all of our expectations out of the water and delivered the most unforgettable moment.

There is NO other option when it comes to wedding bands - Hot Mess is simply the best!!

Best wedding band ever!

I saw Hot Mess play a few times over the years and when my wife and I had our wedding celebration I knew they were the only band we wanted to play our big day. Everything from the announcements to the song selection to the way they kept the dance floor going was just perfect. And the communication leading up to the day was easy and worry free. Everyone that was at our big day couldn’t stop raving about them and they simply made the event.
