Hot mess rocks! Best band ever!
If you want a wedding that everyone will talk about for years to come, hire Hot Mess! They were absolutely incredible. They were attentive to all our requests, kept to schedule, and most importantly, got the party going! We had 230 guests ages 21 to 75. Everyone was dancing and singing along, literally all night long. Everyone we talked to (who still had their voices after) said it was the best band they have ever seen at a wedding and have never seen so many people on the dance floor. They rocked!!! If you don't go with Hot Mess you're doing it wrong. Recommend x1000! -

I'm not sure where to begin with my review of Hot Mess Boston...My wedding took place only yesterday and instead of packing for our honeymoon or taking a much needed nap, my new husband and I felt that the first thing we needed to do once we got home was to write this review. We always knew that Hot Mess was going to be the talk of the wedding reception after watching their promo videos, but WOW do they know how to get a party started! From the moment we arrived onsite at the reception, Jason felt more like a longtime friend to us than a wedding vendor. He nailed our introductions, sparked dance moves in our groomsmen and bridesmaids that I never knew existed, and most importantly he and the rest of the band delivered a performance I never knew I could have on my wedding day. From their impressive jazz trio during cocktail hour, their MP3 selections at dinner time, and of course the "main event" of the evening, it was an unforgettable night of merriment and dancing for each and every one of our guests, nevermind Gene and I. I couldn't believe how many guests told us that "This was the best wedding band I've ever heard!" or "I've never seen so many people dancing at a wedding before!" I also can't forget to mention the adorable & impromptu "Flower Girl Send Off" that occurred behind the scenes...Our young flower girls were upset that they had to leave after dinner, but Hot Mess asked them to do a final sound check and to play tambourines to a private performance of "Shake it Off" which erased all of their tears! We truly can't thank Hot Mess enough for all of the love they gave us last night or sing higher praises of their talent and professionalism. If you are contemplating hiring this band and they have availability on your date, I would book FAST and without hesitation. -

Best Wedding Band Ever
Wow! It’s hard to put into words how amazing Hot Mess is. We booked Hot Mess for our wedding at the end of July and while we had confidence that they were going to be incredible, they exceeded ALL of our expectations. They made the night! Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night, including before dinner. Jason and everyone in the band are so incredibly talented. From Jason’s attention to detail and passion for music, to creating a fun and memorable experience for us and our wedding guests, we couldn’t have asked for more! Our guests haven't stopped talking about how much fun they had dancing and singing all night. Some have even said “That was the best concert I’ve ever been to!” If you are looking for a wedding band, I highly, highly recommend Hot Mess. -

Best wedding band ever!
If you're looking for THE best band for your wedding, Hot Mess is truly the one and only choice!! Every single person at our reception absolutely LOVED the band - and still talk about it to this day! From Jason’s work as MC to the dinner entertainment and set-lists for dancing, everything with this group is top notch. When planning our wedding, we knew from the very start we’d need Hot Mess at our reception. We had previously seen them perform at two cousin weddings (so you could say it’s a family tradition). Jason even remembered my MIL (Aunt Denise!) and coordinated to have her play the drums for a couple of songs! Truly some of the best in the business, wonderful people to work with, and overall high quality work!! -

This band is the bomb! They had everyone on their feet having a blast for hours! I don't think our family and friends have ever had so much fun celebrating, being together and enjoying the moment! It was the talk of the wedding! I would hire them in a second if you are lucky enough to book them! Their energy is electric, the music selection perfect and their musical talent is unmatched. Jason knows how to get the party going!! It was truly so fun! THANK YOU HOT MESS!!

Best Night Ever!
If you’re considering another band…what are you doing?! Hot Mess is the ONLY choice to make sure you have the best night of your life. My husband and I saw the band play 5 years ago at an event, and I knew when the time came this had to be our wedding band. Coming from someone with exceedingly high expectations, Jason and team blew us away with their professionalism, talent, and CONTENT! We had no idea we’d also be walking away with high quality photos from the night. Jason listened to everything we asked for and meticulously went through run of show prior to the wedding night. I felt like I was greeting an old friend when walking into our venue. As someone who has so much anxiety over the details, I was completely at ease and had 100% confidence with the whole band before even stepping out onto the dance floor. All of our guests were truly blown away by how incredible Hot Mess was, and guests are continuing to reach out that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. They knew exactly what vibes to bring when and truly just brought the house down. We walked away feeling like family, and I can’t wait until the next time we see them perform. Anyone hiring Hot Mess for their wedding? I’m an awesome wedding guest! -

Best Wedding Band I've Ever Seen
Hot Mess was probably one of the best bands I've seen in quite some time. They arrived hours early to make sure lighting and sound was perfect, talk to you before (even leading up to the date) to make sure everything is what you wanted it to be, and they're range across genres was unbelievable. Jason makes sure everyone is having a great time and interacts with the crowd to make the show an awesome experience. Could not recommend a better band for any style of event. -

Best band ever
If you want to have the best day of your life, then you NEED to book Hot Mess.
They came highly recommended from our planner, so we decided to book them unseen/unheard and we are so glad we did. They were so nice and helpful the entire process. Closer to our date, Jason reached out to us personally and went over every little detail. They were able to sing all of our special songs (even learned our first dance!) and provided a keyboard player for our ceremony and a guitarist for our cocktail hour. They played throughout dinner and so many people got up to dance. But the best part of all was the dance party that ensued once all the formalities were over..IT WAS EPIC. They are so good that if they went on tour they’d be playing sold out shows everywhere - I’m not exaggerating. Every song was better than the original version, the ENERGY and the way they interacted with the crowd was incredible. Everyone from ages 3-88 were up dancing and singing ALL NIGHT LONG. I couldn’t believe when the last song came on that it was over..but then they did an encore! It was amazing and I will forever be grateful for them being a part of our day. -

Hot Mess absolutely blew my bride and I out of the water with their incredible talent, vocals, and instruments. Jason’s energy as MC is unmatched as he can manage to get every single table on the dance floor. Even those who may normally choose to sit during a reception were out there breaking out dance moves they probably haven’t used in ages.
We are so fortunate that we hired them for our wedding and are grateful for the amount of joy they brought to our day. You can tell they love what they do and we absolutely love them. We’re already trying to find some form of a party to hire them for in the future. Hot Mess, we’ll see y’all soon. ❤️ -

When I say Hot Mess brought the house down on our wedding night—I mean it! My husband and I had seen them perform at a few weddings over the years, and there was never a doubt in our minds that they were the band we wanted for our big day.
