We had an incredible wedding at Updike Farmstead, there are so many lovely elements of this venue. The facilities are excellent, the venue coordinators are helpful and organized and the venue itself is beautiful and intimate yet spacious due to the grounds.

Updike Farmstead provided a spectacular setting for our daughter's rustic wedding just minutes from Princeton. The event coordinator was accommodating and provided recommendations for vendors to create who helped us create our dream wedding. All our guests raved about the barn and the outdoor space. Cocktails outside amid the outbuildings and windmill, dinner in the beautifully transformed barn and dancing under a tent out the back doors - perfect!!

It was a true pleasure working with Leanne to plan our wedding at Updike Farmstead. She is professional, responsive, reasonable, and forthcoming. While we ended up having to change wedding plans due to the current health climate, we would recommend Updike Farmstead to anyone looking for a beautiful space to host their wedding or celebration.

When our original venue fell through, Leanne was quick to help us envision our dream wedding at Updike, even from across the country. She had creative ideas for how to use the space for all our needs. She was always quick to respond, positive, and detail-oriented. When we had to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic, she was incredibly understanding and proactive. And when, finally, we had to cancel our event altogether, she was incredibly supportive and gave us a full refund, which was unexpected and something we are incredibly grateful for. Leanne was the most empathetic vendor we worked with throughout our wedding planning process and while we're sad we didn't get to actually have the wedding of our dreams at Updike, we would absolutely recommend them to others.

Updike was an absolute pleasure to work with. When we learned that our original venue didn't have the proper permits to open in time for our wedding just months beforehand, we panicked. Luckily, Updike saved the day. From the moment we began working with them all the way through our wedding night, they were extremely responsive, professional, friendly,
accommodating, and so easy to work with. Their venue is absolutely stunning and created a picture perfect backdrop for the barn wedding I always dreamed of.

I had my wedding at Updike, and it was the perfect day. The setting and backdrop is beautiful. Eve, the event coordinator, is EXCELLENT to work with - flexible, professional, friendly and responsive. However, I would like to add that there are a lot of hidden fees added to their rental fee, which can add an additional $1K to the rental fee. Additionally, they neglect to tell you that Miller's Party Rentals is the only tent rental company allowed on the premises, which is annoying considering the fact that Miller's Party Rental is the most expensive tent rental company in NJ. Overall, I would recommend Updike Farm to other brides, but be warned that it is a pricey venue!
