Fiddler's Elbow Country Club

If I could leave a million stars, I would. We got married at Fiddler’s Elbow in June of 2026 and it was by far the best decision of our entire wedding planning process. The venue itself is so dreamy - the beautifully manicured grounds and the GORGEOUS stone building adds so much charm and makes you feel like you’re on the English countryside. But without a doubt the best part about our Fiddler’s wedding was Meg and her team. She made us feel so taken care of from start to finish - every question had a prompt and thorough answer (no matter how small), every request was accommodated, and every tiny minute detail was handled with care. Throughout the process, my husband and I would often say to each other how amazed we were with how thoughtful and thorough Meg and her team was. Another highlight from the experience was the private tasting - the food was so delicious and getting to share a private meal with our parents really made the whole experience feel so special. We couldn’t have imagined a more wonderful wedding experience thanks in VERY large part to the incredible team at Fiddler’s!!

I got married at Fiddler’s Elbow in March 2026, and the experience was everything I could have hoped for. When we were deciding where to get married, I knew almost immediately after touring the stunning reception space and immaculate grounds that Fiddler’s was at the top of my list. But it was really their event planner, Meg, who sealed the deal for us.
From that point forward, Meg and her team made the entire process seamless, enjoyable, and stress-free. Throughout the planning process, we had complete confidence that we were in great hands, and when the wedding day arrived, everything went off without a hitch.
As someone who can be pretty detail-oriented (and admittedly a bit picky at times), I can honestly say that every aspect of our experience was top-tier. I have absolutely no regrets about how the day turned out, and that's due in large part to the incredible team at Fiddler’s Elbow. They delivered a perfect 10 across the board - from the food and hospitality to the overall guest experience. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to bring our wedding vision to life.

I am embarrassed to say that this review is 3 years late, but here we go!

First, I do not have good enough things to say about Fiddler’s and their Wedding & Social Events Manager, Meg! Our journey with Fiddler’s began in the Spring of 2020, just as the world shut down due to COVID. I was not living in NJ at the time and was limited to looking at venues online due to lockdown. After researching 100+ different venues, I reached out to Meg. She went above and beyond and sent an extensive video walkthrough to demonstrate what our day would look like. Long story short, we committed to Fiddler’s sight unseen. When we finally were able to tour Fiddler’s that summer when restrictions were lifted, our decision was reaffirmed.

Throughout the entire process, Meg was professional, organized, meticulous, kind, caring, thoughtful, competent, timely, understanding, and flexible. She sent us a ton of planning materials, from a timeline, to recommended vendors, accommodations, food menus/options, extras (highly recommend the pizza truck for the end of the night), and more. We were incredibly lucky that Fiddler’s and the rest of our amazing vendors were so understanding when we postponed our wedding (twice!). She made sure that every detail was in place and confirmed. Our food and cake tasting in the months before the wedding was also so special and wonderful.

The day of the wedding, we got ready at Fiddler’s, which was relaxing and comfortable. A generous lunch was provided for everyone and our server (shout out to Arlene) was very attentive and wonderful. Staff worked with our florist to seamlessly convert our wedding from an outdoor to an indoor ceremony, due to weather conditions. The ballroom turned out to be a beautiful ceremony space, and we were able to keep the ceremony arch over our sweetheart table for the reception, which was gorgeous.

During the cocktail hour, Meg literally chased us with a tray of appetizers and water bottles as we rode away on a golf cart for pictures. We did make it back with more than enough time to mingle with guests and enjoy the spread. The reception itself went off without a hitch (Meg made sure we ran on time), and it was truly a memorable whirlwind of a day. Importantly, with Meg at the helm of our wedding, we felt that we were able to take time to stop, be present, and take it all in (which can be really hard with everything going on).

Overall, Meg was our wedding planner, day-of coordinator, hand-holder, therapist, wardrobe assistant (for dress changes throughout the night), and more. We are so grateful that we had such a wonderful experience!

Bottom Line: If you are looking for a venue that feels like home, has a low-key atmosphere, exudes understated elegance, and has a consummate professional/lovely person in charge of their events, then Fiddler’s Elbow is for you!

Of Note: We have gone to various functions at Fiddler’s since our wedding and can attest that the club and its amenities only continue to improve over time with consistently amazing food and events.

We had our wedding there mid-September of this year and are still in the post-wedding blues a few months later, all because of how amazing Fiddler's is.

Our experience here was nothing short of extraordinary. The space itself is incredibly elegant and stunning—timeless, classic, and absolutely breathtaking at every turn indoors and outdoors. The food was truly next level; every single dish was crafted with such care and superior quality that our guests are still raving about it. The drinks were just as impressive, each one mixed to absolute perfection.

What really set this venue apart, though, was the exceptional service. Meg and her team were phenomenal—attentive, creative, unbelievably kind, and so genuinely invested in making us feel special and celebrated. As a bride, I felt completely supported. Meg listened so thoughtfully and used her expertise to ensure our day unfolded seamlessly.

Choosing this venue for our day was the best decision we made. It was a flawless, unforgettable experience from start to finish and I wish we could relive this day over and over again.

I got married this past October at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, and I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. They did an unbelievable job on the day of our wedding—our guests STILL tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The venue and views are absolutely stunning, the food is incredible, and the staff are so welcoming, kind, and attentive. There are also so many beautiful picture opportunities throughout the venue and grounds, which made our photos absolutely incredible.
Meg was my main point of contact throughout the entire planning process, and she was there for absolutely everything on the wedding day itself. She is so lovely and truly exceptional at what she does. She has a way of making you feel genuinely celebrated and cared for throughout the entire experience. She’s quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and always goes above and beyond.
The bride and groom suites were something important I was looking for when finding a venue, and they were perfect. They had breakfast and lunch available for us while getting ready, which was such a great touch and made the morning feel relaxed and enjoyable.
Fiddler’s Elbow makes you feel like your wedding truly matters, not just like another event on their calendar. I would recommend this venue to anyone considering getting married there—it was the best decision I ever made.

Our wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow was absolutely perfect, and we can’t say enough good things about Meg and her amazing team. From start to finish, Meg was such a joy to work with. She was organized, calm, and always one step ahead. She made the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free, and on the big day, everything ran like clockwork. Her team was just as incredible, so kind, attentive, and clearly invested in making sure we had the best day ever. We honestly didn’t have to worry about a single thing because they had it all covered. The venue itself is stunning, and having it to ourselves for the entire day made it feel so personal and special. One of our favorite moments was the private cocktail hour upstairs with our friends and family. It was the perfect way to soak everything in before the party really kicked off. The cocktail hour and food were unbelievable. We got so many compliments from guests who said it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Overall, every detail was handled perfectly, and it truly felt like Fiddler’s Elbow went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was everything we’d dreamed of. Meg even repaired one of our boutonnieres when it got damaged during pictures!
