My husband and I got married at Basking Ridge Country Club on October 6th, 2024. It was the most incredible day of our lives. From the start of our first meeting, I knew this was where I wanted to have our special day. Everything was beautifully modern, they'd recently renovated the indoor space and the grounds were exceptionally kept which were big selling points for us. We'd originally met with Stephanie who was very kind and professional. She answered all our questions and gave a tour of the venue. She explained all of the packages they offered and didn't make us feel any pressure to book with them, which made me want to book there ASAP. I ended up contacting her later that day to book just so I had time to think and they had our perfect date available so it truly worked out. Jessica, who ended up taking over for Stephanie was so accommodating and friendly. She was just as communicative and helped us plan the day down to the smallest details. She gave me peace of mind when I was worried that everything wouldn't go the way that I wanted. (The day was perfect) The whole staff at Basking Ridge Country Club is wonderful. On your wedding day, they literally treat you like royalty to make sure you have the absolute best day of your life. They brought everything to us if we needed it, and checked in the whole day to make sure everything was running smoothly. I can honestly go on and on about why you should have your wedding here but nobody has time for that. If you're looking for a great venue with great packages/prices, amazing food, perfect staff, and picturesque views then this is your place. Thank you Jessica & the rest of the staff! You made our wedding day PERFECT!

I am embarrassed to say that this review is 3 years late, but here we go! First, I do not have good enough things to say about Fiddler’s and their Wedding & Social Events Manager, Meg! Our journey with Fiddler’s began in the Spring of 2020, just as the world shut down due to COVID. I was not living in NJ at the time and was limited to looking at venues online due to lockdown. After researching 100+ different venues, I reached out to Meg. She went above and beyond and sent an extensive video walkthrough to demonstrate what our day would look like. Long story short, we committed to Fiddler’s sight unseen. When we finally were able to tour Fiddler’s that summer when restrictions were lifted, our decision was reaffirmed. Throughout the entire process, Meg was professional, organized, meticulous, kind, caring, thoughtful, competent, timely, understanding, and flexible. She sent us a ton of planning materials, from a timeline, to recommended vendors, accommodations, food menus/options, extras (highly recommend the pizza truck for the end of the night), and more. We were incredibly lucky that Fiddler’s and the rest of our amazing vendors were so understanding when we postponed our wedding (twice!). She made sure that every detail was in place and confirmed. Our food and cake tasting in the months before the wedding was also so special and wonderful. The day of the wedding, we got ready at Fiddler’s, which was relaxing and comfortable. A generous lunch was provided for everyone and our server (shout out to Arlene) was very attentive and wonderful. Staff worked with our florist to seamlessly convert our wedding from an outdoor to an indoor ceremony, due to weather conditions. The ballroom turned out to be a beautiful ceremony space, and we were able to keep the ceremony arch over our sweetheart table for the reception, which was gorgeous. During the cocktail hour, Meg literally chased us with a tray of appetizers and water bottles as we rode away on a golf cart for pictures. We did make it back with more than enough time to mingle with guests and enjoy the spread. The reception itself went off without a hitch (Meg made sure we ran on time), and it was truly a memorable whirlwind of a day. Importantly, with Meg at the helm of our wedding, we felt that we were able to take time to stop, be present, and take it all in (which can be really hard with everything going on). Overall, Meg was our wedding planner, day-of coordinator, hand-holder, therapist, wardrobe assistant (for dress changes throughout the night), and more. We are so grateful that we had such a wonderful experience! Bottom Line: If you are looking for a venue that feels like home, has a low-key atmosphere, exudes understated elegance, and has a consummate professional/lovely person in charge of their events, then Fiddler’s Elbow is for you! Of Note: We have gone to various functions at Fiddler’s since our wedding and can attest that the club and its amenities only continue to improve over time with consistently amazing food and events.

This review is specifically for Melanie Haig! I did not have the opportunity to have Melanie at Trenton Country Club but at Old York Country Club but her services and professionalism were too suburb to not leave a review! From the moment we booked our wedding she was organized and excited for us, once we met she listened to our vision, and was very open to all of our ideas. During the planning process she was available and responsive the entire time easing any stress we had! The day of the wedding she was attentive and by my side the whole day! I was so grateful to have her there supporting me as well as ensuring that all the behind the scenes decorating and set up was going to plan. Even after the wedding she had everything cleaned up and ready to be picked up in boxes! She exceeded my expectations and more and any bride as well as Trenton Country Club will be so lucky to have her!!

My husband and I got married at Beaver Brook Country Club on 10/11/25 and I can’t say enough great things! The venue was beautiful, clean, and clearly well maintained. Our guests raved about the food and excellence of the staff. Deb, our event coordinator, was incredible every step of the way, answered all of our questions in a timely manner, and went out of her way to make sure our wedding day was perfect. I had forgotten to ask for gluten free desserts prior to the wedding day and the staff took care of it on the day of the wedding and made sure they were available. When I was waiting to walk down the aisle it started to drizzle and the staff walked all of the bridesmaids and myself to the tent with umbrellas. I was truly impressed with the care Deb and the Beaver Brook staff put into our wedding. Thank you for making it so beautiful!

Our wedding venue search came to an easy close once we stepped foot on the Hamilton Farm GC property. Private, welcoming, and timeless, it was everything we envisioned for our special day. Colette and Alysa are truly a dream team. From our very first tour through the entire planning process, including vendor recommendations, tastings, floor plans, and coordinating day-of logistics, they were incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and easy to work with. They answered every question with care and precision and supported us every step of the way. Our wedding day could not have gone more smoothly, thanks to their expertise and attention to detail. The grounds were absolutely stunning, and every member of the team we worked with was exceptional. We genuinely could not recommend Hamilton Farm more highly. 10/10 experience!

Jasna Polana was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day. From their easy and quick communication, to the stunning and graceful mansion, we could not have asked for a better venue. Kelsey was creative in how she maneuvered the furniture to create the perfect flow for our cocktail hour, and even pulled us aside during cocktail hour to make sure we took a moment to enjoy a plate of delicious food - a thoughtful (and incredibly helpful) gesture that we really appreciated. In particular, Kelsey was a joy to work with, helping to talk down this anxious bride and providing creative solutions throughout the planning process. It’s been a few weeks since the wedding and I’m still getting compliments on how great the staff was. We are so grateful to the entire Jasna Polana team for making our special day truly unforgettable.

To all brides to be If you are looking for a place to have your wedding do not pass on Shackamaxon. I just got married here on Sunday 10/13 and it was the day of my dreams. From the first moment we arrived on the property before we even booked them to the last minute of our reception they provided everything I wanted and more! The grounds are gorgeous, the staff were amazing, the food was out of this world! They customized every single item we had from appetizers to drinks. Kathleen, Sean and the entire staff went above and beyond for us. Alex their chef made items my guest raved about and even went so far as to create a custom theme menu for us. We had our dream wedding thanks to everyone there!

Galloping Hill was very flexible with meeting our budget and made sure they included all the information we needed before we made any decisions on anything. Kristina was available when we needed her and she was very informative about the entire wedding process from ceremony to reception to just deciding color for the napkins she helped us with everything and I know she’ll do the same for whoever wants their wedding there!

Julia and her team were very professional, kind and went above and beyond to make our day special. The venue is also beautiful guests loved the wrap around patio overlooking the course and the mountains. The outdoor and indoor appeal was wonderful and the staff made everything run very smoothly

Incredible from the initial communication through every step of the process. The Forsgate team are fun, great communicators, supportive and made the food, venue, and service an elite experience for our special day. Shari went above and beyond as did Ken and their team were wonderful. Our cocktail hour was so stunning, the ballroom and dinner were perfect and we used their recommended vendors for photography and DJ and were very pleased.
