The Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Downtown and Gateway Conference Center is a hotel hosting weddings for couples throughout the greater Cleveland, Ohio area. This classic city venue offers a trifecta that includes a historic conference center with the Edison Ballrooms and historic Armington room, a dedicated wedding contact, and overnight accommodations for couples and their guests. This venue is located at the gateway to the city and directly across the street from Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians MLB team.

Facilities and Capacity
Open for all varieties of weddings, this venue welcomes weddings of 10 to 100 guests. This space has an elegance reminiscent of the past. Our ballrooms include the Edison Junior Ballrooms, with high windows for natural light, and the Armington Room, with an industrial, and historic, vibe thanks to the exposed original brick and metal beams stretching up toward the room’s 35' high ceilings that showcase the original 13 ton Armington crane used during the Trolley era. There are a number of other intimate meetings and board rooms for ceremonies, cozy receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, or rehearsal dinners.

Our wedding at the Hilton in September 2018 was a huge success -- everything was exquisite and went extremely smoothly. Katie was a true pleasure to work with: very professional, flexible, and creative! We felt like the whole thing was just a really positive, fun experience. The food was definitely a highlight -- everything was delicious and they were able to customize the menu a bit for us to accommodate my husband's random request to have chicken and waffles. The ballroom was beautiful for the reception and the hotel staff were super nice and very caring of all of our guests. Highly recommend for wonderful and affordable wedding venue option!

My husband and I the best experience and time with katie petit at the Hilton Garden Inn. Not only was Katie amazing to work with but the rest of the staff was great too. All of my emails and questions were responded to timely and everything ran smoothly, from start to finish. I would recommend the Hilton Garden Inn to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

We would like to thank Katie our sales manager for being an incredible host and making sure our day was special. From the time we talk to the first time we met in person we knew everything we would be awesome. I would recommend Katie to all who looking for a great sales manager to work with. Also, want to give the servers a shoutout for the awesome job they did on our wedding night.

Gayle, Amanda and Katie were amazing. Gayle and Amanda made the ceremony and reception spaces beautiful, we just gave them the decorations and told them what we wanted. They were so easy to work with, but at the same time Gayle made sure that on the day of everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. And the food, oh the food. It was delicious. Everyone loved it.

Hello. We are residents of Cleveland and we had our wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Cleveland in December of 2015. I would highly recommend this venue for the following reasons:
• Convenience for your guests,
• The wedding packages, and
• The hotel staff and event spaces.
Convenience for your guests: First of all, we were able to offer our guests rooms at a discounted rate. Our package included a block of 20 rooms and we had the option to increase that number if needed. Second, our guests didn’t have to worry about driving anywhere after the reception was over. Third, the hotel is in a great location with convenient access to highways and downtown attractions.
The wedding packages and event spaces: We compared wedding packages and toured several hotels that were within our budget. We found that the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Cleveland offered superior food choices and more unique event spaces than its competitors. Just ask for a quick tour and take some time to review their wedding packages. We are confident you will see the differences.
The hotel staff: We enjoyed working with the staff at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Cleveland. Should you choose this venue, you will have a dedicated event coordinator who will work with you from the first day until the date of your wedding. They have a lot of experience at this hotel and they do a great job! Many thanks to Gayle and Christina!

In summary, if you are looking for a venue to host your wedding reception, the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Cleveland is a great choice and a great value.

The HGI made our wedding perfect! From the day we booked the HGI for our venue, Marcia (coordinator) made the process so easy. The pricing was negotiated to make it manageable for my husband and me, we got basically anything we wanted and asked for and the staff made us feel welcome and thankful we chose the HGI every time we called or dropped in. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Gateway Conference Center attached to the HGI. Our family and friends (most out-of-town) stayed in the room block at the HGI and we took over Harvey's Bar & Grill after our rehearsal dinner and after the reception. Basically, we made the HGI our home for the weekend of our wedding and they all welcomed us and asked what more they could do for us! The space was beautiful, the staff were attentive and generous and the food was wonderful! Everything and more was taken care of and my husband and I cannot be happier with the whole experience. A special thank you to Marcia, Victor and Tina at the front desk!

Katie and Marcia were fantastic to work with. They were so helpful and responsive through the entire planning process and they always went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted and needed. Our wedding day was incredible and everything ran smoothly thanks to all of Katie's help. We would highly recommend this venue to others and we hope we can work with them again some day.

Overall we had a great time. Working with Katie Pettit was wonderful, she was very helpful and answered every question we had. We did have a small issue with it being too warm in the reception room because it was so hot outside and their a/c had trouble keeping up. We also had an a/c issue with the suite being used for the bridal party getting ready but their maintenance staff was there right away and were able to get it repaired before everyone showed up.
