Where do I even begin in describing Blythe Hill and her incredible Hill & Co. Creative planning team? When I picked The Cedar Room as my wedding venue, I knew I needed a team of talented visionaries to bring the space to life. Out of all the endless photos I scrolled through on social media, Hill & Co. Creative's amazing designs kept catching my eye time and time again. After a quick chat over the phone, I knew they were the team for me! What I loved about Blythe and her team is how no question from me (or my mom!) was too small; they were always gracious and reassuring. I also don't consider myself the most creative person, so I was a little intimidated about planning a wedding! However, Blythe did not lead me astray. She helped me narrow down my likes and dislikes and built the wedding of my dreams with only a few cues from me. She could take one idea (like florals) and turn it into something spectacular! From helping us design custom wedding invitations and gorgeous ceremony programs to securing the best band (Steel Toe Stiletto), photographer (Virgil Bunao), and florist (Stephanie Gibbs Events), she truly helped make our wedding day one of the best days of our lives. Her attention to every detail made for one overall incredible day that I will never forget. (And shout out to Victoria for being so helpful to me on the big day! She helped me gather my bags, ensure everyone was on time, and was a godsend! Every person on the team was essential to our perfect day.)

Our rehearsal dinner, which was basically an additional wedding turned out better than I could have ever dreamed! Working with Ashley with Hill & Co Creative made the process so easy and seamless. This was my first child getting married and I did not know the process, Ashley guided me through the process, met me to help me make decisions, sent me reminder emails and was available anytime I had a question. Also, Ashley planned the wedding the next night and it was truly amazing too. I highly recommend Hill & Co Creative and have already referred them to a few friends with children getting married.

The Dream Team!!! No other way to put it! I cannot say enough good things about Hill & Co. CHS was a destination wedding for my now husband and I and we truly could not have planned the event we wanted without them! We worked with Shannon for almost all of our planning and then worked with Blythe at the end while Shannon was out on maternity leave and it was the most seamless transition- they were both absolutely amazing throughout the whole process! I had no idea how much went into planning a wedding and we truly would have been lost without them. They were available 24/7 with quick responses and always went above and beyond! They made
any and all of our request possible and helped guide us on the parts of planning we were unsure about or hadn’t even considered. Blythe and Ashley were so wonderful to work with during the entire planning process and all throughout the day of my wedding! They kept us on track and organized and assisted with finding the perfect vendors for our wedding. The day of was absolutely amazing and beyond perfect! The team at Hill & Co. is absolutely wonderful! I worked with Shannon Hodges, who is the team's Lead Designer, and had a fantastic planning experience. Shannon was always professional, kind, positive, energetic, honest, extremely responsive, diligent and you can tell she has a true relationship with so many of the vendors in town. Everyone from our photographer to our makeup artist spoke highly about Shannon behind her back and were excited to be working with her- she is very much respected and for good reason. One of the best compliments I can give Shannon was how gracefully she handled being out on maternity leave with her first child. I had someone working on our wedding during that time and the moment Shannon was back, it was like she had never left and was 110% caught up on any decisions we had made in her absence. Shannon is hugely dedicated to her work and I really appreciated her honest and sincere responses when we needed recommendations or help prioritizing certain spends over others. She proved to be absolutely right on every one of her recommendations!! Shannon knows her stuff and the Hill & Co. team provides tremendous support to each event that is planned. Most importantly, Shannon was such a positive person to work with, I love that during every one of our appointments there was laughter- it made the wedding planning process fun and Shannon was always happy to accommodate our crazy work travel schedules. Shannon and her team were the absolute best! The wedding was a perfect reflection of us as a couple and honestly I feel like we can’t thank Shannon and her team enough— it was absolutely perfect. She took away all of our stress leading up to and on our wedding day, which allowed us to focus on each other, our friends and our family.

Blythe was a dream to work with! My husband and I live in Columbia so during the planning process we wanted someone who could implement our vision without us being in Charleston. Blythe created a vision board which allowed us to see everything come to life and decide which specific elements we wanted to include in our wedding. I cannot begin to put into words what an amazing wedding event Hill & Co designed and carried out for my daughter. Blythe, Shannon and Morgan were beside us every step of the way. I have told them over and over that I am so happy we hired them! I can't stop smiling thinking about the beautiful decor!
