I first met Sarah when she was the photographer for my best friends wedding a couple of years ago. I was a maid of honor so I had to coordinate with her a lot throughout the day to make sure that things flew smoothly.

I knew the first time I met her and saw her in action that I wanted her to be my wedding photographer. I remember going home that night after my best friends wedding and I said to my now husband, she is going to be the photographer at our wedding hands-down, I want her and no one else!

She does absolutely incredible work she takes her time. She is organized and knows how to gather a group together and make sure they are where they need to be for photos. She has details the day of who is supposed to take what photos to make sure she gets all of the ones that you want. She is extremely dedicated to what she does and she loves her job! When you love your job, it shows in your work!

She made absolutely every part of the experience, easy, comfortable, and so perfect! From doing our engagement shoot and working through it even though a few months prior, she had had a injury to her back, she did not want to cancel or reschedule, she made sure to be available and be present for us. All the way to checking in on me months before my wedding, giving me updates, she checked on me the week ahead of time and spent an hour on the phone with me making sure she got every detail of what I wanted my day to look like what I wanted out of our pictures, she gave me helpful suggestions based on her experience. She told me that she would do anything that I wanted.

She then texted me about two days before and hyped me up and got so excited for my wedding coming in a few days. Then sent updates on what the weather was going to be like on my wedding day. She sent tips the night before on how to get good rest, and make sure that you’re eating and drinking and what the weather for that day meant for pictures and how they would look.

And then, of course, the day of her and her second photographer, Jeffrey and her assistant were all amazing. They were so kind, funny and attentive! Sarah just made sure to take care of literally everything that she could. If it was something that needed my attention. She took care of it without a second thought! She was like a second maid of honor!

She made sure that our timeline stayed exactly the way it should be, and just made me feel like, I was doing it right all day long. She was encouraging, positive and in our pictures, even just the four that she has given as proofs are absolutely gorgeous! I am dying to see the rest of them I would 110% recommend her and anyone in her company that she has trained to do wedding, maternity shoots, engagements, you name it!

I will definitely be using her in the future for my own maternity shoots , or any other professional photos that I would like to have because she is a professional and has the most incredible work! She is also just an all round awesome person! 10 out of 10 would use again!! 🥰

I cannot say enough great things about Sarah and her crew! She is more than just a photographer, she is a wedding expert!! As an out-of-state bride, Sarah made scheduling our engagement photos easy and was able to make it happen during our weekend in town. I knew after seeing the amazing quality of the engagement photos that my husband and I had made the right choice!

When it came time for the wedding, Sarah was the one vendor I knew I didn't have to stress about. She checked in with us several times the week leading up to the wedding and was so organized! The day of the wedding she was by my side, while her second shooter Jeff was with my husband and the men. Sarah was more than a photographer, she was a coordinator for the whole day! She made sure everything was running smoothly, kept us to the timeline, and advocated for my wants and needs when things weren't going as planned. She had whatever I needed on hand-- she was fully stocked with hairspray, bobby pins, safety pins, stain remover, tissues--you name it and she was prepared with it! She checked in on my husband and I during the day to make sure we had time alone and were eating and drinking throughout the day. She was even there to help bustle my dress when others struggled!

Her pictures were absolutely stunning and all came within the promised timeline! She was communicative throughout all of the edits. I could not be happier with my wedding photos!! I ordered a custom wedding photo album from her and it is gorgeous-- she uses the highest quality printer and its evident she cares about the way her photos are displayed.

If you are looking for a wedding photographer don't think twice and hire High Contrast Photography! You absolutely won't regret it!! I have nothing but positive things to say about Sarah and we have remained friends post-wedding!

I can’t say enough on how fun it was to work with Sarah and her team on our wedding day. This lady knows what she’s doing and gets business done for sure! I’ve seen her in action previously at a close friend’s wedding and her work was phenomenal. Her photos are so vibrant and capture so much love. It was MUST to have HCP as part of our vendor lineup!

Sarah mainly stuck with my girls and I while Anne ran a tight ship with the guys. Dani was also there to help with absolutely anything we needed. All three of them were outstanding!

One thing that I appreciated the most as a bride was that she checked in with me often and made sure that I was taken care. Meaning that I was eating, staying hydrated, taking time to just relax….literally ALL the things. Even when I started to stress about sticking to the timeline she took the time reassure me that everything was going as planned. She stuck to the timeline, and made each transition so easy.

We could tell that Sarah cared so much about not only capturing the perfect moments for us, but cared even more so about the experience us as a couple should have on our wedding day. I mean it when I say that Sarah provides more than just a photography services. She crafted an oh so perfect day for Wyatt and I. Can’t thank her enough!

We absolutely loved Sarah!
First, she did our engagement photos as part of the wedding package. I had to keep rescheduling makeup and she ended doing it for me, which was fun and she did a great job. She makes the process so fun and clearly loves her job. Then the photographs were beautiful!
Then she was the photographer for our wedding along with basically being my other coordinator. She was always there for advice and guidance. She helped get everyone into position and be organized, keeping everything on perfect timeline. She is extremely experienced, competent, and helpful. She had also helped me a lot with my wedding timeline. I could keep going on.
We both loved her and would love to have her help us capture future milestones.

I cannot rave about Sarah enough. My husband and I both agreed she was the MVP of our wedding and the absolute best choice.

Not only does she take the most vibrant, stunning photos, she goes above and beyond in every other way also. So many photographers I had looked at had washed out, muted/neutral tones and I wanted full color and bright. As soon as I saw Sarah’s photos, I knew instantly she was what we were looking for style wise.

Sarah goes to any length to get perfect shots. For our engagement photos, she got down on wet soggy grass to get a beautiful reflective shot of us (after it had just monsooned the day before).

Leading up to the wedding, her communication and attention to every single detail of the day were unmatched. She felt more like a wedding coordinator at that point. She planned my entire days time line and made sure every detail was clear and addressed so that the day couldn’t have possibly run any smoother. So much of this is because of Sarah’s clear communication and planning. She thought of so many things that I hadn’t even considered and made sure I was prepared well in advance.

During one of her check-ins leading up to the wedding, I explained my nerves on writing vows. She did not hesitate to send me hers from her wedding as inspiration along with the video as well.

The night before the wedding, she sent tips for a restful nights sleep, sent words of encouragement, and stressed the importance of staying hydrated on the big day.

During the wedding, she stuck to the timeline and made sure every photo we wanted was taken and that the night ran seamlessly. She even took extra time to secure my dress when the bustle I had was still too long and when one loop broke. Because she was so on top of everything, I was able to relax and be present in each moment to enjoy what was going on. It took all worry off my plate on wedding day because I knew she would let me know what we had to do next when the time came.

In this process she acted as SO many different roles in addition to her amazing role as a photographer. I thought so many times how she was the absolute best person we could’ve ever chosen! We are both so grateful for all she did for our wedding day. Her assistants Carrie and Ann were such a joy as well. They were both so kind and beyond helpful too.

Sarah and the HCP team were an absolute pleasure to work with! They are an extremely highly talented and fun team to work with! Sarah, the owner of HCP and lead photographer, was phenomenal! Not only is she an incredible photographer that has such a keen eye for amazing shots, but she's almost acts as day of coordinator too with the way she keeps everyone calm and on track throughout the hectic wedding day! We are so glad we picked HCP to be our photographer to capture the one of the biggest moments in our lives. Thank you so much!

Sarah was absolutely incredible ! Not only is she a super talented photographer who got some mind blowing shots, but her attention to detail throughout the whole day and night was impecable! Her assistant Jeff was also great! They both helped to make us so comfortable in front of the camera and I truly don’t know what I would have done without Sarah. She was pretty much my day of coordinator and photographer all in one! She made sure that my husband and I were a priority the entire night, that we were hydrated and kept us on time! I cannot recommend her enough! I cannot wait to get our photos back !

Sarah was incredible to work with! She is a true professional in the industry and produces the most amazing photos. I knew from our very first conversation that she was someone we wanted to work with as she answered all my questions, guided me through the process/timeline and let me know what to expect. For our engagement shoot, she offered location ideas and sample photos she had taken at each place. She also met with us a year prior to our wedding to do a venue walk-through, so she could see everything in advance. And the day-of, she and her team were just incredible. She handled everything at our getting ready location so smoothly and effortlessly and likewise at the venue. Her clear directions and vision made for beautiful photos!! Sarah is so responsive and communicative, detail-oriented, and an expert at handling everything from large family photos to intimate ones, to the ones on the dance floor. There is nothing she can’t do and I would absolutely recommend her!

I can’t recommend Sarah enough. Seriously. Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to cover it. Her photos are always outstanding, she’s fantastic to work with, very easy to talk to, very comfortable to be around. Super professional and such an amazing person.
Our wedding had So many stressful moments - seriously, it was one thing after the other, but Sarah handled EVERYTHING. I mean EVERYTHING. She was absolutely incredible and I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through without her because honestly she saved the wedding. The venue kept screwing things up and I cried multiple times throughout night but she never left my side.
My fingers got seriously burned on a hot iron an hour before ceremony- she was there to hold me while I sobbed, keep my hand under cool water, get me burn cream, bandages… then she did my make up for me. And it was Beautiful. She made me look how I always dreamed I’d look on my wedding day. I know nothing about make up and she just took over and dried my tears and made me look amazing. She helped me into my gown, and crinoline as well. She gave me a thousand hugs through out the night every time I started crying at another mess up. When the venue gave me food I was allergic to and hadn’t ordered, she fixed it and found something I Could eat. When the venue put on the Wrong lights (I specifically said only yellow lights because bright white gives me severe migraines) she fixed it. When I got a migraine from the wrong lights she was there with an ice pack, my medicine and another hug. When the venue broke our $300+ custom handmade made cake topper, she was running around trying to find out who did it (we still don’t know for sure and I’m fighting with venue about it - Padonia Park, just don’t hire them. Trust me)
Sarah was absolutely incredible the entire night. She somehow managed to take care of me the entire time and still take beautiful photos of me and my husband and everything.
You will not regret hiring her. I wish I could hire her to run my life for me. Haha.
