Steph made the most perfect bespoke candles for my wedding. I am absolutely obsessed with them. We talked about scents to match the vibe of the wedding and discussed the aesthetic of the jars, lids, and custom design of the label. Steph is extremely communicative and flexible. She also just gets the vibe, she understands the vision. AND the candles smell incredible and have great projection.

I was happy to give my guests a favor that they actually can use! And truly Steph's candles look bespoke not generic! Guests gave us tons of compliments after the wedding as well.

I worked with Hell Gate Apothecary to create custom candles for my Bachelorette and for our wedding favors and I have to say this was such a unique and magical experience that ultimately resulted in such beautifully crafted outcomes! I decided to go with the option for custom scents for both events and got to work in person on designing exactly what the vision was for each of my candles- for my bach I went with a spring garden that came out PERFECT smelling like hydrangeas. Then I had my fiancee join me to build our wedding candle together, which in itself was a cool experience and collaboration, as he showed me what he liked scent wise and I shared what I enjoyed. Together we came up with a wonderful coconut amber summery scent that was perfect! The quality of the jars, the burn of the candles, and the scent is incredible. The labels and custom matchsticks we added on were also top quality graphic wise and are SO cute. I think my guests are going to love them :) I highly encourage anyone wanting to make candles to go with HGA and give it a try as they help guide you and its such a unique process with beautiful results.
