Heidi is amazing! The photographs are wonderful. The best ones are the candids; she captured family members being themselves and guests having fun. The pictures she took while off with the bride and groom alone were amazing, and showed them relaxed, happy, and having fun with the camera. Yes, they knew they were being photographed, but the results show pure joy. Thank you, Heidi, for the wonderful memories you captured. They will be a true keepsake of the day.

Ok so basically, Heidi is awesome. End of review. Ok, I'll elaborate.

From before I even hired her, I was between her and another photographer. I spoke with both on the phone. The other was snobby, lectured me, and I really, frankly, hated her. I then spoke with Heidi the next day for an hour on the phone and felt like I knew her my entire life. Hired her the next day after consulting with my (now) husband. Being a photographer myself, I took this extremely seriously.

From day one Heidi was friendly, accommodating, sweet, excited about our wedding, knowledgeable, had great ideas, easygoing...need I go on? I think her pricing is more than reasonable for what she does for you.

Our images came out fantastic despite it raining on our (supposed to be outdoor) wedding day. When the rain let up, we took advantage of it and went outside. Heidi knew how to make the most of the situation and spotted mist rising from trees in the background of our country/farm-like wedding. Had it not rained and had Heidi freaked out under pressure and kept us indoors, we wouldn't have gotten some of the most unique and interesting wedding photos I've seen. Can't say enough about her.

My only gripe, and it's actually my fault (I'll explain) is that we didn't get many photos of our guests. One, they weren't big dancers and it was a small wedding. Two, we should have hired her for another hour (my bad). And three, it states in our contract that Heidi mainly focuses on the couple getting married - follows you around and documents your moments. It's good because she doesn't miss important things about the couple but bad because you miss out on photos of your guests. Again, it says right in the contract that if you want those images, you should hire a second photographer (which she provides). In hindsight, I think it is absolutely worth the extra money and I wish we had ponied up the cash. It really isn't much either.

Love our photos and love Heidi. Hire her. You won't regret it.

Heidi was absolutely AMAZING! She was flexible with our schedule & location for our engagement session. She really took the time to get to know us & in the end it felt like we've been great friends for years. She had great suggestions on how to make our wedding photo booth work seamlessly and our wedding album came out beautifully.
Everyone we know that has seen our photos has commented on the quality of Heidi's work. One woman in my office even booked her for her maternity session & the pictures are gorgeous.
I highly suggest Heidi to anyone that values excellent service & talented work.

Where do I begin!? My fiance and I first met with Heidi back in November 2010, and from that very first meeting, I knew that I had absolutely nothing to be concerned with in reference to my wedding photography. Heidi was recommended to me from a friends photographer and when I contacted Heidi, she got back to me that same evening!!! I am usually up extremely late sending and checking my emails, and it brought a smile to my face when i received an email right back from her! She sent me all the information I needed on her prices and packages and such, and we then set a date to meet!

When leaving our meeting with Heidi, all of my wedding planning finally felt fun again!! As a bride, we tend to get caught up with the commotion and planning that we forget to step back and enjoy the entire process..even the stressful things. I hopped into the car and my fiance noticed how excited I was that we booked with Heidi!! He laughed at me when I informed him that Heidi and I were going to be friends after our wedding! I just instantly felt a connection with her and her passion to her work. I would like to say that I am the only one who this has happene to, but I am not. My best friend is in the process of planning her wedding, and when it was time for her to book her photographer, she booked with Heidi! After experiencing Heidi shooting my wedding, and saw her work, she felt the same way as I when first meeting with Heidi.

We were lucky enough to have our engagement session shot with Heidi, and she made everything so easy. She traveled to our choice of location and made us both feel comfortable getting our picture taken!! Her editing is so precise! And you should see how quick the proofs are ready for viewing!!! With Heidi, you get over the top photos for an extremely reasonable price! Then came our wedding day!! I dont think I saw anything but a smile on her face the entire day...and it was a lonnnggg day!! I hope to have Heidi photograph the rest of the special things in life...like our future family..because then again... I DID inform my (now) husband that she and I were going to be friends forever!! haha!!

Heidi photographed our wedding on June 26th 2011. She was there before me scoping the area for great spots. Our photos were amazing and we got the rights to the photos and over 800 shots were taken! We were very pleased with her work. Highly recommended.

We met with a lot of photographers in preparation for our wedding but the night we met Heidi, our search was over. She is amazing! Not only does she make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, but she was truly dedicated to making us look and feel beautiful in our photos.

We scheduled an Engagement Photo Shoot a few months before our wedding to get to know each other and the landscape of our wedding venue. She arrived on time and was dedicated to getting the best shot, while giving us constant and helpful feedback in terms of our pose and facial experessions.

As luck would have it, we were married during Hurricane Irene, so the weather was quite the challenge. Heidi and her assistant arrived earlier in the day to scope out new locations and made it work. She is a really hard worker and a blast to be with.

She stayed all night long, was on the dance floor capturing every moment and really was a crucial component to our wedding. She is a gem and anyone is lucky to work with her!

Heidi Finn Photography is fantastic! Heidi took a lot of pictures and they all came out great. I have gotten rave reviews from my family and friends on how wonderful the pictures came out. She was a joy to have at our wedding. She was very patient with our 5 children when taking their pictures and captured a lot of good ones of them. Her turn around time on our CD was with in two weeks after our wedding so I was already able to order prints. She also posted a lot of them on her FaceBook page which was great so we were able to see our pictures the next day after our wedding. I would recommend Heidi to everyone for any kind of event.
