Hayloft on the Arch

Located in Vernon Center, New York, Hayloft on the Arch is an idyllic barn wedding venue. This structure, previously a family-operated dairy farm, has been hosting events for ten years but has already been featured by Harper’s Bazaar, Country Living, Elle Magazine, among others. Owners Mike and Alisha Mathalia have hosted hundreds of events, including their own wedding ceremony and reception, and one incredibly intricate triple wedding. The barn features both indoor and outdoor spaces and is highly customizable, making it perfect for intimate, vintage rustic celebrations.

Facilities and Capacity

Hayloft on the Arch’s 30 + acre site offers couples an abundance of photo opportunities, from a willow tree beside the creek to rolling green hills. There is a large area designated for parking near the site. The patio is over 4,000 square feet of potential cocktail reception space. The outdoor firepit creates a welcoming atmosphere, while the Grain Bin Bar creates a unique cocktail hour space. A small outbuilding has been converted into an intimate chapel for charming ceremonies. Couples can also say ‘I do’ on the carefully manicured grass in front of 100 of their seated loved ones, should the weather oblige. A golf cart can help transport guests from the ceremony to the barn for the reception. The renovated barn contains a get-ready room with make up stations for last-minute priming. It’s also home to a 30-foot bar to accommodate those celebratory toasts. The barn can host up to 300 guests.

Services Offered

Hayloft on the Arch is proud to offer complete event coordination, as well as event space. Mike and Alisha are available to set up your chosen decor according to your descriptions, as well as act as a point of contact for vendors. They want to make your wedding day as smooth and seamless as possible, and can also repackage any belongings for safekeeping after the celebration. Chairs and tables are available from the barn. Outside vendors are welcome, but Mike and Alisha can provide couples with a list of their preferred vendors for added convenience. A prep space is perfect for caterers who want to work on-site.
