A 12-time winner of the Couple's Choice Award, Shelley Otis offers couples a versatile selection of popular covers, classical pieces, jazz standards, and music of various world traditions. She enjoys the creative challenge of adapting music of all kinds to her instrument and works with every couple to create their own unique song list. Couples can choose from a catalog of over 500 songs in a variety of genres including classical, popular, jazz, and various world traditions, and are welcome to request additional songs not on her list.
She provides music for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, elopements, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and corporate events. In addition to solo work, she collaborates in several ensembles: for those who would like a more classic sound, she offers a string duo or trio with cello and violin; and those who would like something more upbeat can select the Boston HarpBeat, an instrumental cover band.
Based in Boston, she also travels to Rhode Island, southern New Hampshire and southern Maine.
