Excellent cakes at this bakery. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Man they came through. High end quality, gorgeous, and totally finished cupcakes for… wait for it…. a dollar! A DOLLAR! In LA that’s like a unicorn. And it’s the same cake that they have for wedding cake. We had a cupcake tower (and they made the cutting top of it as well,) and it was brilliant. A DOLLAR!!!

My cake was perfect!! it was so delicious, and was exactly what i had envisioned. can't wait to eat the saved portion for our 1 year anniversary!

I was 100% happy with my wedding cake. Ordering the cake was easy - I stopped in the Tarzana location on my lunch break and Jack had my cake ordered in about 20 min. They had great samples and options which made it easy to choose. The cake was beautiful and tasty. Jack was very helpful and insisted I take a bunch of samples home for my fiance.

Hansen's was one of 2 cake vendors included in my venue package. I see other reviewers experienced issues due to this, but I did not. I told Jack my venue and he handed me the book to pick a design. I picked the design, which was beautiful. I told him we would have 175-200 guests as the wedding was a month out. He showed me the size he would make for that guest count, which was huge. He told me to call him if I ended up closer to 200 and he would gladly make me a bigger cake. I did have 200 guests but i didnt bother calling for a bigger cake because not everyone eats cake and we had a ton of food and a choc fountain as well. He also took extra time to explain to me how I could correctly wrap and freeze the top tier so it would taste as fresh as the wedding day.

He never tried to upsell me, which actually surprised me because the other "included" vendor with my location did. It was great to have one vendor I didnt have to pay or discuss price with :). I got my perfect cake as part of the package with my venue. Many of my guests commented that it was the best cake ever - especially the carrot cake tier and the marble with choc chip filling.

Delicious! We got a lot of compliments on how tasty our cake was at our reception. They were able to make the outside look smooth like fondant, but not taste like it... We were very pleased with our cake!

By far the best cakes we tasted and reasonable priced!

Hanson's Bakery did the cake for our wedding. It was delicious, we chose them because we didn't want fondant and they do a beautiful job with buttercream. We got a very simple 3 tier cake because we just wanted fresh flowers on it. I felt their pricing was a bit high for what yet did other than that it was good.

the cake was great! they had a lot of cakes to choose from. the only part that sucked was the location!

The cake looked and tasted amazing. Booking and selecting was easy, taste tests were wonderful, and delivery was flawless. I would use them again!

We used Hansen's for our wedding cake as part of a catering packaged offered through our venue. The cakes are delicious and I have since gone back for two other occasions or purchased cakes and cupcakes through them.

Since we selected this vendor through a packaged price with our venue, we were unfortunately not offered much variety for their pre-designed cakes, however the taste more than compensated for that.
