When we confirmed the Fairmont Orchid Hotel as the venue for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding on the Big Island at the end of August, our top priority was contracting with Josh from Fletch Photography. We engaged Josh for the initial two days of our three-day celebration, and he delivered outstanding results on both occasions. From the Welcome Luau the day before the wedding to capturing every moment on the Wedding Day (from 12 PM to 10 PM), Josh's work was truly magical. More than just a talented photographer, Josh is a wonderful person, and Nick and Lindsay thoroughly enjoyed their time with him. Josh consistently collaborated with us, and we anticipate that the final photos will be absolutely stunning! Having worked with numerous photographers in my profession who tend to be prima donnas, I can confidently say that this is not the case with Josh. I urge anyone planning their wedding to secure Josh's services as soon as possible after setting their wedding date. I assure you that it will be one of the best decisions you make for your special day!

He was meticulous in setting up quality shots and putting subjects, including the bride and groom at natural ease. He is a natural with people and getting the best out of them. In addition to his beautiful work, he will send you LOTS of preview shots very quickly (which are amazing!). I can't say enough great things to say about Tad, his professionalism, style and photographic eye. He is outstanding and a wonderful person.

As mother of the bride, working with Jill (and Gordon!) was an absolute dream. Planning a Maui wedding from the East Coast, we spoke with several top photographers - but there was something truly special about her from the start. She is not only kind and easy to work with, but her talent is simply extraordinary. Jill captured timeless bridal portraits along with all the genuine, fleeting moments that make a wedding day so meaningful. She was also so non-intrusive throughout the entire day, capturing moments so naturally, but also being sure not to miss a single shot we asked for. As we are receiving the photos, we have been blown away. Every image feels like a work of art and brought all the emotions of the day rushing back-some truly took our breath away. I honestly don't know how she did it! A real bonus was having Gordon as a second photographer. He wasn't just an assistant-together, they captured the best angles of every shot. If you are looking for a photographer with both heart and an amazing artistic eye, Jill and Gordon are exceptional. Best decision we made was hiring them!

My husband and I did a couples shoot with Guillermo Navarro, and we honestly can’t say enough good things about the experience. We're both naturally pretty shy, so we weren’t sure what to expect—but from the very first message, he put us at ease with his professionalism, warmth, and clear communication. He was reliable, punctual, and incredibly easy to work with. You can tell right away that he’s experienced—not just in how he handles the technical side, but in how he reads people and creates a comfortable, relaxed environment. What could’ve been an awkward or stiff session turned into one of the most fun and memorable afternoons! He guided us throughout the shoot with just the right balance—tailoring everything to our personalities and what we were hoping for, but also giving us creative direction that made a huge difference in how the shots turned out. We found ourselves laughing, being goofy, and totally forgetting we were even posing. Some of our favorite photos came out of those spontaneous moments he captured so naturally. His background in film is definitely reflected in the final images—they’re cinematic, intimate, and just so beautiful! The final photos were delivered quickly, and we’re genuinely obsessed with them. If you’re even thinking about booking a photographer, do yourself a favor and go with Guillermo. You want this guy! Thank you so much, Guillermo!
